Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Sorry -- I was having a domestic spat with Dualla over my constant sexing of Starbuck, and then my JAW wanted to go and get a few drinks, and you know how it goes. Anyway, I play two cards.

BSG

this is a team game, and I need to be fair to both teams.

Let me stress this point, if I may, Oh Great Administrator. I think this is the hardest thing for folks to understand when they are coming to the game initially. Just because it looks like we are all on the same team, and even may be right now, by the end of the game there will be two cylon players competing to win against 3 human players. There are different thoughts on how to ferret out the cylons (or how aggressively you should do so), but it is a part of the game that if ignored entirely, will almost certainly result in a cylon win.

I know I was sort of taken aback the first time I played, when I'd been working so hard for a human victory, and then at mid-game I became a cylon.

Of course, the fact that the Loyalty Card deal happened while I was in the bathroom, and that Baltar had his turn, looked at my cards, and told everybody else I was a cylon before I got back and even knew about it...that was a bit off-putting also.

What is the skill check again? What cards are good & bad?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

In my opinion, green and purple cards are bad.

Heh. Purple and green are votes to put Baltar behind bars. All other colors are a vote to allow him to remain free. If the final number is 7 or greater, Baltar will finally have the spare time to work on his manifesto "It wasn't my fault, really!" in the peace and quiet of the brig.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

Apologies all, I needed to clear some things up with Apollo concerning the current state of his hand. This has now been cleared up; the outcome is that he would like to amend his play to 1 card. No one else has played yet, so I will simply amend his play.

Destiny: 2 cards
Baltar: 2 cards
Apollo: 1 card
Boomer:
Adama:
Roslin:

boomer plays no cards. I'm not sure it's the crazy Doctor. I think the sick president needs confining.
