Choices for this round are:
Connie Neil: Phase I (+1/+1) - Explore (draw +1 card, keep +1 card)
chrismg: Phase II - Develop
Laga: Phase I (+5) - Explore (draw +5 cards)
We'll do Phases I and II this round. For Phase I (Explore):
Connie
looks at 3 cards and keeps 2.
chrismg
looks at 2 cards and keeps 1.
Laga
looks at 8 cards and keeps 1.
Cards are going out now. We'll then have Phase II (Develop). When you make your choice over which card(s) to keep, you can also give me your orders for Phase II.
For those of you who have Steam accounts, they are having a large halloween sale. I may have just purchased Portal 1 & 2 for the mac on sale... and Q*bert... and CivRev IV. Not that I will have time to play any of them this month.
Most of the sale games are halloween theme types. But hey, Q*Bert isn't. Go figure.
(I'm not sure CivRev was on sale... it's midnight. Moment of weakness. And Ive played the heck out of the two iPad versions).

Everyone has made their choice. On to Phase II (Develop).
Connie
passes.
chrismg,
who chose this Phase, plays Replicant Robots for 2 discards. He now gets -2 cost for any non-military worlds, including military worlds he plays via Contact Specialist.
Laga
plays Consumer Markets for 4 discards, leaving her with 1 card in hand. Consumer Markets lets her consume up to 3 Blue goods for 1 VP each; and in Phase V, she draws 1 card for each Blue good she produces. She currently has 2 Blue production worlds in her layout.
That concludes Round 6. Round 7 begins! Everyone, please send me your choice of Action card.

MISC
I just found the computer game of Temple of Elemental Evil in the house. I may be gone some time.
(but I sent in my play)
RftG
Indeed, everyone has sent in their play. Here it is:
Connie Neil: Phase V - Produce
chrismg: Phase II - Develop
Laga: Phase I (+1/+1) - Explore (draw +1 card, keep +1 card)
Three phases again! First is Phase I (Explore).
Connie
and
chrismg
get the standard deal: look at 2 cards, keep 1.
Laga
chose this phase, and gets a bonus peek from Expedition Force; she looks at 4 cards and keeps 2. Cards are going out now. Everyone, please let me know which card(s) you keep You can also send me COs for Phase II (Develop).
Connie,
I highly recommend playing Temple of Elemental Evil with the Circle of Eight mod pack: [link]
The Standard version includes a huge number of bug fixes and game tweaks that make the game much more playable. (There's also a New Content version that adds stuff to the game if you feel the game is too short, though the quality of said content varies.)
Full disclosure: though I haven't done any work with them in many years (starting a family took away a lot of my free time), I was Co8's resident D&D rules expert for awhile, and personally overhauled a lot of the monsters in the Standard part of the game to make them work closer to the way they're supposed to. (No real programming involved there. It was pretty much just changing values in a spreadsheet.)
ToEE
Kalshane, it is a buggy little thing, isn't it? After installing it refused to open, till I Googled that I need to run it as admin each time. Now it won't open Saved games--which, considering my entire party is getting wiped out fairly quickly, isn't such a loss at this stage. I've seen references to the Co8 package, but I shall investigate further on your recommendation.

Choices have been made. For Phase II, both
Connie
and
Laga
pass.
chrismg
plays Genetics Lab, which costs him 0 cards with Investment Credits and choosing Phase II. He now gets an extra card when trading a Green good, and produces on a Green windfall world (of which he has two) in Phase V. Which just happens to be up now.
RftG
For Phase V (Produce),
Connie
produces two Blue goods. She produces on her windfall world, Galactic Resort, because she chose this Phase. She also drwas 1 card for producing on Galactic Studios.
Thanks to his new Genetics Lab,
chrismg
produces 1 Green good, on (say) Ancient Race.
Laga
has two production worlds, and produces 2 Blue goods. She draws 1 card for producing on Gem World. She also has Consumer Markets, which gives her 1 card for every Blue good she produces - she draws a total of 3 cards.
That concludes Round 7. Time to choose Action cards for Round 8.
