Pass on interrupts and Brown being positive would not help me. But I can help a little otherwise.

Pass on interrupts and Brown being positive would not help me. But I can help a little otherwise.
BSG (Athena)
You could make Reckless positive, but that means definitly facing negative effects and possibly the negative effects if the check fails. Instead of just taking chances on the check passing.
BSG (Cally)
Yeah, that's why I asked the group. Didn't want to just make it reckless, and have everyone jumping down my throat, accusing me of burning bread, and what not.
I think I'll pass on interrupts then.
Oh wait. Let's do it right, so it doesn't sound wishy washy
PASS on interrupts.
BSG
I'll get this sorted properly in the morning, but: everyone passes on interrupts, the check begins. Romo plays 1 card. Hot Dog is up next.
BSG
Ok, here's the token:
Weapon Malfunction:
11 PRB
Destiny:
2 cards
Romo:
1 card
Hot Dog:
Apollo:
(COs received)
Athena:
(COs received)
Zarek:
(COs received)
Cally:
(0 or 2+ cards)
Baltar:
(COs received)
Hot Dog is next.
Is anybody else playing The Stick of Truth ?
BSG
Is anybody else playing The Stick of Truth?
I have everyone's play now, so let's see if it turns up in the check. With no resources on the line, this is clearly a vital crisis, which may explain why there are 16 cards in the check:
Weapon Malfunction:
11 PRB
Destiny:
2 cards
Romo:
1 card
Hot Dog:
3 cards
Apollo:
1 card
Athena:
2 cards
Zarek:
2 cards
Cally:
2 cards
Baltar:
3 cards
Cards played:
Guts and Initiative 2
Launch Scout 2
Unorthodox Plan 3
Evasive Manoeuvre 2
Maximum Firepower 5
Install Upgrades 0
Establish Network 0
Scientific Research 3
Scientific Research 4
Popular Influence 4
Investigative Committee 5
Preventative Policy 5
Iron Will 0
Executive Order 1
Major Victory 2
Declare Emergency 3
The EN-0 means that all Blue in the check counts double.
Tally: 28 - 20 = 8. Fail! However, there is also an IW-0 in the check, so since the check was 3 short, there is no effect! Baltar is saved! No vipers were harmed in the making of this extravaganza!
There is also an IU-0, allowing Baltar to draw Blue. Even though the IW-0 gives a result of No Effect, the check still technically failed, so Baltar draws just one Blue card. Card going out now.
Finally, the basestar launches three raiders. That concludes Baltar's turn. Romo's cards are going out. Romo, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

BSG (Zarek)
Holy frak, I don't think I've seen a check spiked so hard before. Thank the gods for that Iron Will.
Our two Cylons spiked with Y and G. The only person who draws neither of those colors is Athena, so she played positive. I'm not sure what other conclusions we can make from this check, but, hoo boy, do we need more ICs.
BSG
Administrative note: Romo's card draw exhausted the Politics deck. I've reshuffled the discards.
