Well, I'm a bit grumpy about it all. I think it was a waste of "peak at loyalty card", not to mention, I was in perfect XO position to move RSV's as needed. But hey, I'm just a knuckle dragger. What the frak do I know, right?

An XO for me would be nice! Get me out of sickbay? I can move back to command, launch a RSV to protect ship J in sector 6. I'm worried about that Heavy in Sector 4. Or XO Athena, to move to Sector 6 and protect Ship J.

Seriously. That is what I based my decision on. If you had been okay with the discard, I would have gone with that, since I was fine with the discard.

So, it has been proposed that I XO Zarek, Cally, and/or Athena. Maybe Apollo. Not Romo only because of turn order
Jump Track is still in the red. Nothing needs repairing. There is a frakload of Cylons out there. Can't use Communications. Blowing up a Basestar would be bad (except for the one less Basestar part). Does that about cover it?

I was hoping you would have picked one of the folks who might have spiked the check in round 1.5 (I think it was 1.5). That's what I'm grumpy about.

Unfortunately, Hot Dog is protecting, like, half our population. Although it would take a lot of Raider activations to threaten that Sector, we could easily get ANOTHER Cylon Attack that plops Raiders down there.
It might have been a risk worth taking, though. But like I said, only if he's a Cylon.

All right, after careful consideration I have decided to move to Weapons Control, say "hey" to Zarek, (or salute the Admiral, I don't know, greetings of some kind will be exchanged I'm sure), follow that up with a classic "'scuse me while I whip this out" and play a State of Emergency-6. Because shit has gotten real, my fellow Galacticans.

Let the record show that for Gaius Baltar, "'scuse me while I whip this out" is a classic. Meanwhile! We are now in a State of Emergency. Food falls by 1. All the players now may either move or take an action, in turn. Baltar starts this party, by activating Weapons Control and firing at the basestar in Sector 2. The roll may be modified by an SP.
