WOO ASSAULT RAPTOR

I don't even remember what they do that is different, but I am pretty frakking excited to see one in action.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Henceforth, assault raptors shall be known by the Cult of Baltar as "The Shiny".

Meanwhile, here's how assault raptors differ from vipers:

1. As far as any game effects are concerned, they don't. For instance, if a crisis card tells you to destroy a viper, you can pick an assault raptor for the chop.

2. When under attack, they are only hit on a 7+. Any hit destroys them. They can't be damaged; for instance, if one is picked for a crisis card that damages a viper, it's destroyed instead.

3. They have their own FTL drive. When the fleet jumps, a player currently piloting an assault raptor can choose to remain in space instead of landing in the Hangar Deck. If there's an unmanned assault raptor, the current player decides whether or not it lands.

4. You can create new assault raptors via a card in the Blue deck, "Raptor Specialist". When one is created, an ordinary raptor is destroyed (it gets converted into the assault variety).

Okay, my flock, what say we? It's early, so everything's at starting levels. I'm leaning toward dividing the hit. Opinions?

In this matter, the Cult will allow the State to do as it deems best. We do not see great virtue in one course of action over the other.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

In my experience, Population doesn't need any help being lowered and food is a renewable resource. Still 2 is a big hit right off the bat... but I am leaning towards food.

I choose option two. Surely everything will be fine, right?
