I think the end credits music for this week's episode is some disco action, for the Humans. [link]

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG (Leoben)

I don't have an XO and (due to my weakness) I can't move to Main Batteries. Stay put and repair some vipers?

Move to Comms and move civvies around? Move to command and activate the vipers we do have?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Cain)

Priority #1 is preserving enough population to survive a Blind Jump, which means protecting the civvies in immediate danger. I see the two best options being the following:

1. Move 2 civvies from Sector 3 to Sector 4. If Raiders activate, we lose 1 civvie guaranteed (if it's a 2 Pop, we're frakked), and possibly 1 civvie in Sector 6 (in which case, again, we're frakked).

2. Move the Viper from Sector 4 to Sector 3 and fire. Best case, we take out 1 Raider and then both miss the Viper and we lose no civvies, maybe 1 in Sector 6 if that RSV sucks. Worst case, we lose 1 to 2 civvies in Sector 4 and possibly 1 civvie in Sector 6 and we're dead.

Basically, we have an option that guarantees the safety of 2 civvies and an option that has the possibility of saving all 5 civvies. It depends on the die rolls.

For one Raider activation, at least.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Cottle moves to Command. He discards the mutiny card Ruined Reputation.

I don't have an XO and (due to my weakness) I can't move to Main Batteries.

You can move to Main Batteries. Cottle isn't there anymore, having participated in Galactica's first catch-and-release program. You can't move to Command. Note that moving to Main Batteries will cost 1 skill card. Note too that firing at Sector 4 or 6 now carries the risk of hitting a civvie (or viper, for S6).

Meanwhile, I think Cain has Sectors 3 and 4 confused with Sectors 4 and 5. In any case, Leoben has opted to draw 2 Yellow and 1 Blue. Leoben, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Well, if Main Batteries is an option, then fire on Sector 4! Of course, if you miss, we are well and truly dead.

BSG (Cain)

Oh. I wasn't entirely sure that was the best option, especially if we don't have an SP.

Hold on to your butts.

Everyone passes on SPs. Let's see whether Leoben manages to bag a civvie.

Die roll: 8. 4 raiders destroyed! Seems a shame now that there were only three there. Nice shooting, Cylon! But I think those guns might be running a little hot now. Leoben's crisis card is:

Weapon Malfunction
Skill Check (11 PRB)

Possible interrupts: IC, RO, ASC, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play. You can also send me COs for the check itself. Baltar plays first, Leoben last.
