Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG Round 1.5 - Apollo

I have conditional orders from Apollo;
Draw 1 Yellow, 1 Green, 1 Purple, 2 Red

Sending cards now. Captain Apollo, please post your move and action when ready.

Boomer, you've received an executive order. Please post either:

1. A move and action, or
2: 2 actions.

Apollo has requested that you move to Sector 1 and attack the basestar. You may do so, but you are not obliged to do so. If you do attack the basestar, you will damage it on a roll of 8 on the die. If you have a Maximum Firepower card, you may use it to attack the basestar.

Billytea, insent with what I think I can do. I'm at work, and can't see what my cards say, or what the manual says, so I'm working off of memory on a game I am super new on.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

I don't mind if omnis waits until he gets home to decide what to do if it will minimize the likelihood of tactical errors.

I concur.

BSG What I e-mailed billytea is kind of what was mentioned already, and what I wanted to do when I first launched, so it's *not* a "I'm going to roll a dexterity check and turn off the artificial gravity while jumping through the air with my dagger to hit the airlock lock to decompress the chamber so the toaster float away" kind of thing. It's just a "I can't recall exactly what the card says, but I want to go in all guns blazing" thing. Damn it, I want to fry some toasters! A girl needs some action! (why is it I never hear that directed at me).

Boomer's proposed course of action is... legal!

Move to Sector 1

Play Red-3: Maximum Firepower to attack the basestar 4 times.

Boomer will hit on a roll of 8. There is 1 possible interrupt, Strategic Planning. We will pause for a moment to see if anyone wants to play it for any of your attacks. (Roslin and Baltar haven't drawn purple cards, so cannot play an interrupt here.)

I can't recall exactly what the card says, but I want to go in all guns blazing

I concur with this too.

The card says you can move and take an action, or you can stay where you are and take 2 actions.

If you have the Action card that lets you attack 4 times, you can move into Sector 1 and play that card as your action, and then roll the die 4 times to hit the basestar. Any hit of 8 or greater will damage it, and there are 3 more damages it can take (knock out weapons, general damage 1, general damage 2).

ETA: OK, billytea's way ahead of me on that.

I do not interrupt, as I'm all about concurring with Boomer's proposed action.
