Cards have been passed. Gosh, a whole turn ignoring those raiders. They feel slighted. You've hurt their feelings, Apollo! It's like they made you President and suddenly you're too good to shoot at them anymore! Prepare to face:
Reprisal
Cylon Attack
This is the first Daybreak attack card of the game, and it's a fun one. Apollo, your day job is keeping you from mixing it up like you did in the old days. Doesn't it just make you want to tear down the whole system? In addition to the new ships on the board, Destiny gets two new Treachery cards, and Apollo draws one mutiny card for his very own.
That concludes Apollo's turn. Helo's cards are going out. Helo, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Hey, wait, don't I get to activate the Quorum after my XO?
BSG
Sorry, yes you do. Helo, hold off doing anything until we resolve this.
Apollo activates the Quorum Chamber. Quorum card is going out. Apollo, you may now either draw another Quorum card, or play one from your hand. When you're ready, please post your orders.
BSG (Apollo)
I
Assign Cottle as my Mission Specialist.
BSG
Doc Cottle is now Mission Specialist. When the fleet next jumps, he will choose the destination from three options. Apollo also gets to draw 2 Yellow, which are going out now.
That
concludes Apollo's turn. Helo, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
BSG (Apollo)
I suggest you go out there and START SHOOTING.
Oh, and get in an assault raptor! They're pretty badass!
BSG (Adm. Louis Hoshi)
Given the (2) Basestars in the air, might I suggest XO to me to nuke one of those bad ass mo fo's.
BSG (Leoben)
Can Apollo only use his ability on his own turn?
BSG
Can Apollo only use his ability on his own turn?
No, he can use it whenever he plays an XO; however, in order to use it on someone else's turn, he would need to find a way to play an XO. He can't be XO'd to do it, as you can only have one XO per turn. Old Apollo could get a free action on someone else's turn with AVP, but of course Old Apollo can't use Newpollo's ability.
One way at least that I know of for this to work is if someone plays the State of Emergency-6. That gives everyone a move or an action, and doesn't count as an XO. Apollo could use his action to XO someone and then activate his own location too, as long as no one else plays an XO first.
A quick wrap-up of the other players:
Leoben can only use his ability on his own turn, as it takes up his Movement phase, which only occurs on one's own turn.
Baltarnate can use his ability whenever he has an action and another player in his location to steal from. I think he could even use it twice in a turn on an XO or such like.
Hoshi can only use his ability on his own turn.
New Helo can use his ability whenever he plays a Launch Scout. He could use it more than once in a turn if he scouted twice on an XO.
Cottle, likewise, can use his ability whenever he has an action, and can use it twice on an XO, as he did last turn.
