Round 1.2 is Adama's. Raq has left conditional orders, so we have:

1. Draw 3 Green and 2 Purple cards
2. Move to Weapons Control
3. Action: Fire on Basestar

There is one possible interrupt: Strategic Planning (Purple value 3-5), to add 2 to the die roll. Twelve hours to hear on interrupts from everyone who's drawn purple so far this game (i.e. everyone but Roslin and Baltar).

I love how we cross pollenated two sci-fi shows with RSV.

I'm not sure I want to know how a redshirt is procreating with a Viper.

Adama: "She couldn't have been just a machine. Could you love a machine?"
Redshirt: "Giving it the old college try, sir! Tip one: lots of lube."

Hey, at least the RSVs aren't humping my leg anymore. That was always awkward during the pre-flight briefing.

BSG

A quick thought on how we handled the first crisis. It's great that we protected the civilians from that Cylon skinjob/suicide bomber. Judging from the colors, I would say the blue came from the destiny deck, so the Cylon amongst us (because odds are that we have at least one) seems contect to play along for now.

However, even if we assume the other Destiny card was a 4, we overshot the target number by a lot. We want to husband our resources more carefully in the future or we will find ourselves unable to handle later crises. I played my two best cards, for example, because we hadn't really coordinated on whether we could handle this risk. Now I'm going to be of no meaningful help until I get to draw new cards, 3 crises from now. At least one of us could have held onto an extra card that we now do not have to help us get through the next crisis.

Interesting piece of trivia. What is termed 'briefing' in America, in Britain is called 'pantsing'.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

heh. In the US, pantsing is pulling someone else's pants down.

Oddly, when I was in school at the University of York, "pants" were what I called "underpants," "trousers" were what I called "pants", and "briefs" were called "Y-fronts." Ironically, "pantsing" was known as "debagging," because on-board the Galactica, "debagging" means no longer being involved with Kara Thrace, who rivals Samsonite for sheer volume of luggage possessed.

Nevertheless, in my briefings, we pilots are pants-less.
