I need to clarify something concerning Adama's play. Results once it's sorted out.

Revised play from Adama. Here's the check:

The Olympic Carrier: 11 YGR

Destiny: 2 cards
Roslin: 3 cards
Cottle: 0 cards
Adama: 2 cards
Starbuck: 1 card

Cards played:

Consolidate Power 1
Consolidate Power 1
Major Victory 1
At Any Cost 3
Declare Emergency 4
Declare Emergency 4
Repair 2
God's Plan 2

Tally: 14 - 4 = 10. Fail! But Adama steps up with a Declare Emergency 3. The DC drops to 9. Pass!

Finally, the heavy raider and the jump track both advance. That concludes Starbuck's turn. Roslin's cards are going out. President Roslin, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Administrative note: Roslin's card draw exhausted the Politics deck. I've reshuffled the discards.

Roslin's orders:

Move: Play Preventative Policy 3 to protect Food.

Action: Discard Red Tape 0, Major Victory 2 to activate the President's Office.

First card sent. You may now either draw another Quorum card, or play one from your hand. When you’re ready, please post your orders.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Roslin)

I just returned from Comic-Con—I mean, um, Kobol-Con—and I cannot come up with any good flavor text for the fact that it is time for some Truth and Reconciliation.

I am really tired of these "discard half your hand" options, especially after I got a pretty good draw, so I choose Option 1 and send Adama to the Brig, mostly because I can easily get him out anyway with a Quorum card (and then give a rousing Speech). Don't worry, honey.

Cottle, you can probably take out the basestar on your turn, and then hopefully Adama can XO me and we'll be back to normal.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

BSG (Starbuck)

Wiat, did I miss something?? You were stoking the Quorum fire, and now you are playing a crisis card?? Is this the one with option 1 having a -1 to Morale? One of our lowest resources???

BSG (Roslin)

A) Yes, I was stoking the Quorum fire. All Quorum cards are not useful immediately. And sometimes you get a card on the second draw that is useful but cannot be played.
B) I...I always choose a Crisis Card? This isn't new? Like...the Quorum + Crisis combo is basically how President Roslin works?
C) Morale is one of the easiest resources to raise.
D) Unlike Fuel, which is lower.
E) Don't freak out.

Don't freak out?! WTF. You just put your boyfriend, or Admiral, in the BRIG... AND dropped our second lowest resource. In the brig, he will have a great deal of problems playing into checks. And how many cards will be wasted to get him OUT?!?! Far more than ruining your great hand.

Remember when we were thinking we might all be human?! Yeah, I'm not thinking that anymore.

If it's so bloody easy to raise it, THEN DO IT!

Ok. First things first, as you will have gathered I sent Roslin her second Quorum card and then her choice of Visions. She has chosen:

Truth and Reconciliation
President's Choice

She has made her choice; Morale falls to 3, and Adama has been escorted to the Brig. You can't do any Admiralling from the Brig, so Lieutenant Kara Thrace, congratulations on your promotion. All hail Admiral Stormageddon Starbuck!

Next, the basestar fires.

Die roll: 7. Hit! Roslin assigns the damage to Pegasus. The basestar hits:

Airlock!

Cottle breathes a sigh of relief. Finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Roslin's turn. Cottle's cards are going out. Doc Cottle, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
