Holy crap. Fantasy Flight Games has just announced another Battlestar Galactica expansion - Daybreak: [link]
It will include at least one new game option, "The Search for Home", and a bunch of new cards and things, including twelve new characters.

I'm not sure secrecy rules allow me to say yes or no, I'll just say, best not to hold one's breath on the Quorum making food. Fat bastards ate it all, I'm sure (I hope the mic wasn't on when I said that).
Given where we are, and the lack of attack cards lately, I think we will need as many skill check cards as we can get! If it's ok with you Admiral, I think option 1 would be best.

Don't they have all the necessary characters by now? I mean, Hot Dog has got to be way down low on the Admiral hierarchy; what does he really have to offer?
Okay, what am I saying, it would be worth it just to have a game with Admiral Hot Dog.

I'd be curious to see if any of them weren't Allies. They make for a pretty comprehensive list of any recurring character.
The only thing that prevents me from positing that they'll all be existing Allies is that there are 35 Allies, and this expansion will bring the number of playable characters to 34. That fits, but three of those Allies are D'Anna, Simon and Doral. Are they going to have some more Cylon leaders? Or, like Boomer, will their status be unknown at game start? Or have FFG found two more characters that can go into the mix, and the three other Cylons aren't part of the new roster?
(If they are all Allies, my money's on Simon being the odd one out.)

It is with heavy heart, on advice with the Admiral, that we pick Option 1 .
Let's tighten up the belts, people. Maybe we should distribute stems to curb the hunger pains.
