has anyone heard of/played Mirror's Edge for the Xbox? Co-worker was talking about it, said it was the bomb.

omnis, I've played it. It's pretty fun and challenging but very repetitive. It doesn't ever seem to realize its full potential.
Also, Omnis, it may cause motion sickness. It's first person perspective and the character done a lot of acrobatic leaps and rolls.
Search on Kotaku or YouTube. You'll find plenty of video.
What kind of store has this in stock? Does it come with the book, or is that a separate purchase? Is the book needed?
It should be available in games stores. It's also available through online distributors, such as Amazon (don't forget to use the Buffista link) or Thought Hammer Games [link] The rule book comes with the game. There are also some useful files (game summaries, player aids, that kind of thing) here: [link]
I tried the demo from xbox live. Took forever to d/l. Cool game, horrible controls. If I see it used at the store for cheap, maybe.
Do any of you guys subscribe to GameFly?
Hey I beat someone in a tournament! It's the first time I got past round 1! Kablam!
Lagaaaaaaaaaa went two rounds and what a fight! I've never seen a god get the net before. Check it out.
Holy cow! On a lark, I entered a brute who has wolf and dog, but low level. SHE WENT 4 ROUNDS!
4 vs 8, 4 vs 7, 4 vs 9, and lost to a level 7 who netted the wolf and flailed the hell out of me.
Not bad for a gal with no weapons and low hit points!
Beastmaster!
I need ferrets!
