You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Baltar moves back to his Office, which is currently being haunted by his predecessor. Why? Well, they had to quarantine her somewhere, and Cottle flatly refused to have her in Sickbay, with the comment, "Have you seen her? I might catch something!" Instead, Baltar catches something; Roslin is Antagonistic. Baltar draws two trauma, which are being sent now. Neither of them is a Disaster, so he survives his encounter with Typhoid Laura.

As they wheel Roslin out on a gurney, Aaron Kelly appears in Command. How is he feeling? President Baltar, when you're ready, please advise what kind of mood he is in.

Thanks for the Quorum card. In the words of Animal House. "Thank you sir, may I have another".

Second card sent. It's been a Baltariffic turn so far; why should the crisis card be any different? Baltar's crisis card is:

Water Shortage
President's Choice

President Baltar, what would you like for your Delusional Intuition? Then, when you're ready, please post your choice.

Well. I'm at 11 cards. And I get one more because I'm delusional or some such. So option 2 will hurt, but not too bad. However, the lesson I learned from my Admiral is, it's better to throw cards away after the check then for the check. So? Option 1? Did I understand that lesson right?

Hogwash. That's absurd. I don't want to cut my hand that much, but food is the lowest resource, so, I'm hesitant to go that route.

But as President, I listen to my people. So I ask the newspapers to poll the populace. Which option do you think?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG (Helo)

Food is replenishable but it's also our lowest resource at the moment. If you've got five cards that aren't worth that much I think go with the discards.

Ah, true. Forgot it's replenishable. 5 cards is a lot. It's almost half my hand. There are a couple low numbers. But those are the juicy abilities cards. I'd rather not discard 5, but I was thinking food gone is bad. But forgot, there are ways to replenish

Who knew so many crickets survived the exodus. They were deafening. The people have not spoken. Since the Admiral was the only one who spoke up, I'm going with Option 2 , and discard almost half my hand. Specifics have been sent to bt.

Baltar discard 5 cards; they are:

Consolidate Power 1
Investigative Committee 3
Executive Order 1
Declare Emergency 3
Repair 2

Finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Baltar's turn. Chief's cards are going out. Chief Tyrol, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

BSG(Chief Deciding)

Hmm. Well, there's an obvious place for me to move, and I can XO someone after...Felix, do you want to pump up the Engines? Or maybe President Shaggy wants to work the Quorum some more?
