I was looking over it yesterday. It seems a bit complicated to keep track of the trauma, and I'm still not entirely sure how Allies work (can they be ANY character in the game? I thought it was just Cottle and a couple others), but I'm sure we'll get the hang of it. Basic idea seem to be DON'T GET TRAUMA.

There are 35 Allies in the game, including all the available player characters. Those characters actually taken by the players are not eligible to be Allies too, of course.

The Allies currently on the board will appear in the turn summaries. You can keep a record of who placed which one, if you wish. Aside from that, the only thing you really need worry about is your own trauma - how many positive (Benevolent), how many negative (Antagonistic). I suggest you put it next to your skill card records.

The weekend is almost upon - well, me at least. That means it's not long before we begin. I have the game files all ready, and I'm writing up a quick introduction to the Ionian Nebula; meanwhile, you can all give some thought to your character selection.

It's time! The weekend is upon all of us, and Buffistica 17 - Nilly in Space - is ready to begin. We have six players, in the following (randomly generated) turn order:

We have six players, which means that we have the option of a Cylon leader. If no one picks a Cylon leader, then we will play the offficial 6-player No Sympathiser variant (where resources start a bit lower, and revealed Cylons draw an extra card per turn).
NoiseDesign is first to choose. ND, which character would you like to play? Everyone else, you can send me COs for your character preferences as well. Everyone except ND, don't forget to put in your choice for starting card draw as well. Everyone except the first player begins with three cards from their starting draw. (Take your regular five-card draw, and knock off two cards.)
