The gas spore was one of those WTF creatures. I mean its entire reproduction plan involved being attacked, but it looked like something no sane creature (adventurers not being high on the sanity chart, really) would mess with.

I'm in Sector 6. I can always shoot at raiders, but I don't have fantastic offensive capabilities right at the moment.
