Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think I spent about 5 hours playing Toejam & Earl last night.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Awesome! The first game or the second? You know that's where "Polter-Cow" came from, right?

I did not know that! Of course it seems so obvious now. I played the first one all last night. I might have to download the second one now.

A long time ago, I used to play games. Toejam and Earl 2: Panic on Funkatron on the Sega Genesis, for one. One of the enemies was this ghostly cow that possessed your character and caused him to have convulsions, making him lose energy. I dubbed it a "Polter-Cow" and thought it'd make a good story. And then, to my surprise, I actually wrote that story. Like I needed to pay attention during driver's ed. It was the first big story I'd written simply for the sake of writing it, because I had a story I wanted to tell. It's a symbol of my beginning as a writer.

not your mom's socks.

x-post with bitches:

I have been informed this morning by the house urchin that today is the Best Day Ever. And tomorrow and Sunday might rank up there too.

Buffista sprog DC edition f2f in t-12 hours. Mal and Iris would like to apologize in advance for any temporal rifts that occur.

Also, (and this is why this is in games) - Iris says that if Mal wants to play in Monkey Party, he needs to get some pink in his wardrobe. Or Hello Kitty.

move out and draw fire

Alas, Mal seems to have lost all interest in playing Rock Band. He is now fully dedicated to Lego Star Wars and Fable II (he like to believe he's playing the dog).

I'm sure Iris' presence will alter this, though.

I gave up on my Supernatural band for Rock Band, as I really couldn't get any avatars to look like Sam or Dean or esp. Bobby.

I do have Venture Industries (Brock Samson, Rusty Venture, and Hank and Dean) and The Guild of Calamitous Intent (Dr. Girlfriend, The Monarch, Baron Unterbite, and Magic 8 Ball)

I do have a Fable II question: Is there any benefit to marrying? What about marrying multiple times? Does it matter who you marry? I seem to be engaged or almost engaged to a handful of people.

is Mal playing Braid at all? Iris is a fan.

also - I suspect that what Mal likes will alter Iris' tastes just as much. Though she won't let him know that.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I got Dead Space. Bad mistake. I lasted 10 minutes before I had to turn it off. I don't cope well with fear of (virtual) death.

Isn't that fear inherent in, er, most games?
