If Pegasus take 2 more hits, then 1 more hit will destroy it. Galactica will take 6 hits, yes, but imagine if Comms or Weapons Control (or even Armory) gets hit.
Communications cannot be damaged, but the other two are fair game. The Admiral decrees: Baltar lives! (Let's see if he returns the favour whent Assassination Plot comes up.) Baltar has left COs to damage each ship once. The damage is:

Next we have the basestar activation. As all basestars are already on the CFB, we cannot place a new one; instead the basestar in Sector 1 jumps in! Then the pursuit track advances to the end, and the rest of the Cylons jump in anyway. Game on!
Finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Baltar's turn. Cally's cards are going out. Cally, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

OK, people, we have a civvie in harms way in Sector 5. No clue of manifest. I'd rather not do that with main batteries, due to risk of hurting civilians. Let's not forget about Magnus over there too. Someone needs to get to Armory and take that puppy down. And I'm still here at Main Batteries, maybe an XO will give us two shots, maybe take out both Basestars? But I think the higher priority is the raider in sector 5, and then the boarding party.

You can't shoot at a basestar with Main Batteries. Raiders (and civvies and vipers) only.

Okay, I have a lot of options here so can anyone do anything great with an XO? I can also repair things/Vipers; we could really use those MKVIIs in the sky. Adama, if I get you out of Sickbay, could you do something about that civvie, and I could wait for an XO to repair Vipers?

As much as we need those guys repaired, I think boarding party, and the raider with civilian is higher problem.

The question is where I should go before playing an XO. Stay where I am? Hangar Deck? Command? CIC? I really think I should try to repair something on an XO. What will we need most?
