There are four negative cards in that check. Two could be from Destiny, and one is from Cally. Six seems to be playing human. Ergo, Anders is a Cylon. He is also the only person who played more than one card, and throwing one positive and one negative into a check is a classic spike.
In fairness, from an objective standpoint, I could have thrown one of those Purple (or Treachery) cards. But at least Tory and Gaeta are cleared. Which means that Tory, you could XO him out of Sickbay if you wanted. Which would be good since his hand is all Treachery.
I think we're screwed now, though, especially if I don't get out of here quick and start escorting civvies.
BSG (Tory Foster, your kinder gentler President)
Well. Do we want to talk about what happened there? Anyone have any feelings about how training is going?
BSG (Boomer)
Situation Normal: Anders Fucked Up.
BSG (Tory-ador, don't spit on the floor; use the cuspidor; that is what it's for)
We can hardly decide who to trust based on what fits into an acronym. That's no way to run a battlestar.
And it occurs to me that someone could have had another reason for spiking that check than being a cylon. And Six
is
a cylon, apparently friendly or not, who knows why she does anything?
So, I'm not completely confident that I should XO the (probably?)good Admiral. Especially as I've got a couple of things that I could do that really kind of should be done. OTOH, none of the rest of you are MORE trustworthy, your turns are just farther off. Felix, if I order you to, I don't know, work Communications or shoot a basestar or something, would you XO me to do the stuff I need to do on your turn? It'll be good for Galactica.
BSG(Felix suspicious)
Someone we know got a new Loyalty card just recently, jumping out to accuse someone else of spiking? Yeah that's real confidence-building. The only ones we're sure didn't spike it are me and Tory.
Madame Prez, if you XO me I promise to head straight for FTL Control, with my reroll at the ready. Next time there's a Raider activation, we're going to lose a bunch of ships, and, oh look, Cally's turn is right after yours. An early jump risks Pop, but we can't afford to lose that ship with the Fuel on board.
BSG (Tory)
Oh, ha, I kinda forgot about that option. Sounds good. I
stay in the President's Office and XO-1 Admiral Gaeta.
Don't be a Cylon, sir. And please draw green on your turn and XO me if you can.
BSG
Admiral Gaeta, you have received an XO. You may either move and take an action, or not move and take two actions. When you're ready, please post your orders.
BSG (Boomer)
That was definitely one of the options I was looking at.
And it occurs to me that someone could have had another reason for spiking that check than being a cylon.
Why would a human want us to have damaged Vipers?
Someone we know got a new Loyalty card just recently, jumping out to accuse someone else of spiking? Yeah that's real confidence-building.
Fair enough, but why would I spike a check all suspicious-like if I wanted you to help me get out of the brig? Which I hope I can do on my turn.
BSG
Poor sweet naive Boomer. Humans are all potentially conflicted these days. They might do anything.
