It's nice to have hopes. The final play is:
Reunite the Fleet:
10 YG
Destiny:
2 cards
Ellen:
Consolidate Power 1, Preventative Policy 4
Cally:
0 cards
Gaeta:
Investigative Committee 3
Boomer:
0 cards
Six:
Major Victory 1
Anders:
Iron Will 0
Tally: 9 - 0 = 9. Fail!
However, the tally is within 4 of the pass level, which means Anders' Iron Will prevents the fail effect from taking place. No effect!
Next, the raiders in Sector 4 open fire:
Raider 1: 1. Miss.
Raider 2: 3. Miss.
Oh, right, these are the raiders from Sector 1. The journey hasn't improved their aim.
That concludes Anders' turn. Ellen's cards are going out. President Tigh, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

FRAKKING HELL. Thanks for the save, Anders, but FRAKKING HELL.
Ellen, I should be able to take out those Raiders with an XO.
BSG (Ellen)
Well, that could have been worse.
Cally, honey, we do not get enough girl time! I
move to Command, adroitly give Cally a card, and draw 2Y.
Continuing my general feeling of grrl power I
XO-1 Boomer.
BSG
Boomer, you have received an XO. You may either move and take an action, or not move and take two actions. When you're ready, please post your orders.
BSG (This Is My BOOMSTICK!)
I
play MF-4
and
UNLEASH MY FURY!
BSG
Fury: unleashed.
Fire 1: 5. Hit!
Fire 2: 7. Hit!
Fire 3: 8. Hit!
And the lesson, boys and girls, is that it pays to have your name in the opening credits.
You have one more action. When you're ready, please post your orders.
BSG (Anders)
Yeah, when I said I couldn't help at all, I meant to pass, not to keep from failing. Ouch it hurts to come so close but man is Boomer's shooting ability a balm for that sore.
BSG (Boom!)
Well, that went well. A little TOO well...since I don't have much to do now. A lot of that going around.
I will
CAG the Viper in Sector 5 to Sector 6
and then
play LS-1 on the Crisis Deck.
I'm worried about the Heavy. I'm considering burying a jump icon because if we don't destroy it before we jump, it'll just come back, two activations from boarding. This isn't like before where we wanted to jump away as fast as possible: we don't have to worry about Cylon Attack cards.
Weapons Control can target the Heavy, right? Maybe we should do that.
BSG
Weapons Control can target the Heavy, right? Maybe we should do that.
That is correct. No matter the source of the attack, you need to roll a 7+ to destroy a heavy raider.
Meanwhile, there's a scout heading on its merry way. Does it return?
Die roll: 6. Pass!
The top card of the crisis deck is being sent. Boomer, when you're ready, please post whether to put it on the top or the bottom of the deck.
