I play Green 4 Declare Emergency.
That should put the running total to 16. Destiny would really have to hate us to put us in failure.

I have orders from Mr Gaeta to play 0 cards. Let's see what Destiny adds:
Unexpected Reunion:
8 YGP
Destiny:
Declare Emergency 3, Trust Instincts 0
Apollo:
Preventative Policy 3
Kat:
No cards
Adama:
Declare Emergency 4, At Any Cost 5
Tory:
Declare Emergency 4
Gaeta:
0 cards
Tally: 19 - 0 = 19. Pass! But Destiny has added a TI-0, which means two more cards are on their way:
Preventative Policy 4, Launch Scout 1
Tally: 24 - 0 24. Pass!
So, that went well. Galactica knows how to party, amirite? Less promising: the five raiders now open fire on Apollo.
Raider 1: 3. Miss.
Raider 2: 1. Miss.
Raider 3: 5. Hit!
He'd been doing so well, but now he lands in Sickbay. The last two raiders move to Sector 2.
That concludes Gaeta's turn. Apollo starts his turn in Sickbay, and therefore may draw only one card. He has chosen to draw Yellow. Apollo, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Announcement: tomorrow, I'm off to China for two weeks. That means I will most likely be checking in less often (assuming this website or my email laccount isn't simply blocked).
Meanwhile, over the last week we've only completed one turn. I know there are people for whom real life is intruding, but the game has become ridiculously slow. This hurts the gameplay experience for everyone, and isn't fair on the other players.
My current tip is: if your turn is coming up, plan for it now. If you want to get other people's opinions on what you might do, ask before your turn. If you need to ask me any questions, same story: ask before your turn. Then, when your turn actually starts, try to get your orders in within the day. Your card draw might affect your choices, but most of them are fairly obvious and can be anticipated - whether you draw an XO or not, whether pilots get a Max Firepower and such like.
Of course, it's a great time to push this just before I become less accessible for a fortnight. I'll try to push things forward as best I can; but when I get back, let's try and pick up the pace.
BSG
And on that note, orders from Apollo:
Move to Command
Action: launch two vipers into Sector 5
AVP: jump into one of the newly launched vipers
Bonus action: Play Consolidate Power 1 for 2 Red
New cards are going out. But the fleet reacts to the CAG's presence among them, not with relief but with fear. While he was in Sickbay, he was replaced with Season 3 fat-suit Apollo, and the civilians rush to hide their twinkies! Apollo's crisis is:
Food Hoarding in the Fleet
President's Choice
President Foster, when you're ready, please post your choice.
BSG (President)
Does anyone have something to help the roll? I'm leaning towards option 1, it would help if someone had Strategic Planning.
BSG
Confirmed with the President: she's getting those twinkies! Tory chooses option 1. Morale falls by 1. There's a die roll with a civvie at risk; everyone passes on interrupts.
Die roll: 7. Pass! The fleet, intimidated by fat-suit Apollo's thousand-yard stare, gives up the twinkies without a fight.
Raiders and jump track both advance. That concludes Apollo's turn. Kat's cards are going out. Kat, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

BSG (Katastrophe)
Things are getting kind of hairy! I remain where I am and activate FTL Control.
I Hotshot the die roll with LS-1.
BSG
Ok, well that's not good. With a result of 3, the FTL roll fails. A quarter of the fleet is led astray by Kat's faked coordinates, and Population falls by 3!
On the plus side, the fleet's on the move. Destinations are going to the Admiral. Admiral Adama, when you're ready, please post your choice.
