poke poke.. what are we waiting on?
BSG (Gaeta)
It's my turn. I've been in 10 of 12 tech days. I'm headed back down to the theatre in a bit and I will post a move once I'm settled at the tech table.
BSG (Gaeta)
Okay, I'm finally in front of the computer for a little bit. It looks like we still have a basestar to take out as well as raiders.
I do not have an XO so that's off the table. I can do a move to Weapons and try a shot at the base star or the raiders.
BSG (President)
Would a nuke take out both?
BSG
Would a nuke take out both?
As long as the raiders are in the same sector as the basestar, you have these possible outcomes:
Roll of 7: destroy the basestar and three raiders.
Roll of 8+: destroy everything in the sector, including all the raiders and Apollo's viper. (Apollo, somehow, survives an all-encompassing nuclear blast and lands in Sickbay.)
Only the Admiral can order a nuclear strike, of course.
BSG (Gaeta)
Yeah, I don't have an XO to give to the admiral to fire the nukes.
BSG (President)
Well, we don't want to destroy anothr Viper, so Nuke seems a bad choice. And since you can't XO, then Weapons seems a good choice.
BSG
I now have orders from Gaeta:
Move to Command
Play Launch Scout 1 on crisis deck
Let's see if they make it.
Die roll: 5. Pass! The details of the next crisis card are going out. Mr Gaeta, when you're ready, please post whether to put it on the top or the bottom of the deck.
BSG
Gaeta has buried the crisis card. That means there's no crisis on his turn, right? Gaeta certainly thinks so, which is why it's such a shock when he's surprised by an:
Unexpected Reunion
Skill Check (8 YGP)
Possible interrupts: IC, SR, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play. You can also send me COs for the check itself. Apollo plays first, Gaeta last.
