OK, so we are looking at 12YG. The question is, tank or not tank. If we tank, we random loose a card. If we go for it, and fail, we waste a lot of cards AND get an extra plucked. Thankfully we get jump icon, and we jump out of this fray, and there are no heavies in the air to advance before the jump.

To recap:

Dee says she can help a lot, but hasn't really come down on one side or the other

Tigh can help, but thinks we should tank

Starbuck can't help, but would prefer NOT to tank, as she only has 2 cards.

Cally can't help.

Six is willing to make BLUE count positive. With 5 of us potentially drawing blue, that could be of use. But some of us worry that it would only put REPAIR cards at risk, which are desperatly needed. Of course, if we tank, we run the risk of those repair cards being randomly lost to the cosmos. So....

Roslin has yet to give her thoughts. Our fearless leader must be ingesting the good herbs again, and can't be disturbed.

Me. I have opinions, but it seems I am not trusted. So why waste the breathe. I'm just going to sit here, and take my mantle like a man. But I want this thing to keep moving forward, hence the recap. If we go for it, I can help a fair amount.

My CO's are in, either way, in case things start rolling when I don't have a chance to check in.

My two remaining cards are good ones. Y'all really don't want me to lose the one, and either would be a blow. Well, one of you probably does, and who knows what Sleeper Phase will do to opinions re: Starbuck's skills, should they be retained?

I know I'll lose more good cards by playing into the check thank I would by a random discard & also I can't get us to a pass by myself. I feel that if we spend a bunch of cards going for "no effect" we'll find we wish we still had them when we get a crisis whose fail = Very Bad Things.

If Six chooses the skill check I will try to pass it, but I think we'll be making a mistake.

It's not Six' choice; this card only has a skill check. You're currently doing interrupts. Whether you tank the check or not depends on everybody's vote.

I can help a little with this check, but it is sounding like we probably can't muster what is needed to pass it.

I can help a lot, you can help a little, and Tigh can help. I think we would need help from Destiny to pass, and I'm not sure we can count on that, even if we get extra help. I don't want to throw Repair cards into this check, although Baltar is right that we might lose some in the random discards.

Gah, this is tough. If we want to go for it, I'll go for it, but it's iffy. It sounds like it would be worth it if we do pass, just...a big waste if we don't.

Sounds like we are all waffling on this one. I think we need a type A to say "go for it" or "tank it". Given everyones suspicion of me, it should not be me. But we need to decide. Is it 6, because its her turn? As a human, I'm not fully comfortable with that (and it has nothing to do with those creepy, but hot, lucid wet dreams she's been giving me). Is it the Presidents call? The Admiral's? Not sure. But someone really needs to step forward and say which way to go, and if going for it, should we add the Blues to the mix.
