D says, "I don't know if I can afford Disneyland on your birthday... I kinda got drunk and did something stupid on Ebay last night."
We're getting a wii! Hey, I've been to Disneyland, but I've never played a wii. We have Zelda and Metroid coming. Wii owners, what are your favorite games? (I don't think I can afford wii fit... yet.)
Today's bewildering Xbox Live encounter: I made a new rock band av named "Tommy Snake." (He's punk.) Live banned the name as not family friendly. At least they allow my gamertag (ZoneWombat) which they used to block.
I guess a band named Hole would be unpossible then.
Laga,
Wing Island
is a simple but fun flying game for the Wii. The storyline is written for 7-year-olds, so skip through that part, but the flying is pretty good.
Okay, it's lame that the character string "snake" gets blocked, but if they blocked your gamer tag for the reason I think they did, that's super-lame. I'm glad they unblocked it.
At least I can understand why they blocked one of my band names. Long live Timeshare Vagina.
I wonder if they'd let Toad the Wet Sprocket through.
Laga-- Try Raving Rabid Rabbids 2. It's snarky and fun to play. You cna get used versions in eBay for not too much money.
Yeah, I think it was blocked for "womb" too...lame. Esp. Since I had to battle "peanus munchers" today.
In other game news, we test-drove our rpg based on Supernatural yesterday. Worked pretty well.
I kinda ordered a Wii. I was online, it was there...everyone else has one. Practically.
My brother has one, I talked my sweetie into buying one for his boys, everyone at work (almost) has one. I succumbed to peer pressure. And I have to get a Wii Fit. It won't end up costing me anything because we can get reimbursed for it as part of our healthy lifestyles reimbursement at work.
