I choose Option 1
at least we saved that raptor.

First things first, I neglected to mention that Baltar takes Purple for his Delusional Intuition.
Baltar's pleas that the raptor be sacrificed "to make it look like an accident" go unheeded. He bears the brunt of the extrication process. When news of how he landed in Sickbay spreads, Morale drops.
Next, the basestar activates, possibly outraged at the abuse of innocent machinery:
Die roll: 5. Hit! Baltar has left COs for Pegasus to be damaged. Pegasus CIC is hit.
Finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Baltar's turn. Dee's cards are going out. Dee, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

So I thought I would just Comms some civvies, but I was wondering whether an XO to Starbuck to get in the sky or an XO to Tigh to fire on the basestar would be better. We have a little time before the Raiders attack, and I will be here and ready for an XO. Any thoughts?
BSG (Tigh a little tenderness)
I think Starbuck may be able to do more with an XO than I could. Let me check my cards.
...later, that same day...
If I destroy the basestar I might be able to raise morale.
After that I could scout a deck. I'm thinking we'd rather get a pilot in the sky.
BSG (Pass the Starbuck)
I would rather be flying than not, of course. I don't like those civvies hanging out there by themselves. They are safe from raider activations for a little while, unless more raiders suddenly show up...
BSG (Dee)
Then I XO-2 Starbuck.
BSG (Starbuckaroo Banzai)
I launch into Sector 5 and move to Sector 4
Hi civilians!
Unfortunately I don't think I have another action to take.
BSG
You could move to Sector 3, I guess. Or back to Sector 5.
BSG (Starbuck)
Hm, no I think I'll stay here with my peeps.
