You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

What sparked my interest in trying Magic again was the documentary "Nerdcore Rising". In one scene the bass player from MC Frontalot brings a girl back to his room and sits down to play Magic but he spends over an hour explaining the rules. It's supposed to be funny but I sat there thinking, maybe I should give that game another chance.

I had fun playing, the guys would get all complicated and had different decks for different things they wanted to do, or to play against different types of decks. I just had my Red/Green where I knew what my cards could do.

I really miss it and miss playing RPGs, but I'm not sure how to get hooked back into all of that.

Oh, I was always so annoyed by people who had specialist decks. I had my Black/Red deck and I occasionally kicked the specialists' decks. I hate the people who have to run every stat for an hour before they'll sit down to actually play the game.

Help me out folks, both options sting. It sounds like not many can help with the skill check. Can anyone help with the die roll?

BSG (Call me confused)

I can't help with the skill check.

I'm a little confused on the die roll - can someone explain generally what would help with that?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Dee-licious)

Strategic Planning would increase the roll by 2 before the roll, and Calculations would allow you to increase or decrease the roll by 1 after the roll.

Aha! I'm new to these expansion sets, but upon further reading, I have come up with a brilliant plan. I'm going with the check! And I PLAY Support The People1, So everyone but the skin job can draw extra cards. I can help a bunch with the check. I really don't want the double hits from this one. Not after the awesome start Starbuck gave us.
