So I think the options are to move the Vipers in Sector 5 in Sector 4 to cover the civvies, move the Viper in Sector 4 to Sector 2 to keep Scar busy (the first option is probably better because Scar will get to Sector 4 in one activation anyway, and three Vipers will keep him busier than one standing in his way), or XO Dee to get rid of that Centurion. Or I can see if the Quorum will let me authorize brutal force.
BSG (Star...you know I should have thought through the puns I could make with this name...buck)
All right! There's Scar! Hi, Scar!
BSG (Ca n't think of anything si lly)
So glad we didn't already have a bunch of metal in the sky when Scar showed up.
BSG
I had a feeling we'd really regret having all that metal in the sky.
I can XO, but I'm really not sure who I trust to shoot an XO over to.
BSG (Cally)
With an XO I could fire on Scar twice. I know you don't trust me but if I took your XO and did what I said that would help.
BSG (Starbuck)
You could XO me! Oh, right, shut it. Shutting it now. (For the moment.)
BSG (Tory)
I trust me! But Cally has a better shot of doing something useful. I don't know how Main Batteries work on Scar, though. Does she still have to roll a natural 7+? I guess it's better than sending a Raider to do it.
The advantage of sending Vipers to protect the civvies is that I have a bad feeling about what Starbuck will do on her turn, and if she puts more ships on the board, it would be good to have the civvies protected. Then again, it would also be good not to have Scar around.
Or a Centurion.
Choices, choices.

I'm also thinking about launching more of the RSVs so that we have more in the air in case things get even crazier out here.
I could launch two more RSVs into Sector 5 and then move one into the sector with the civvies for more protection.

Using Main Batteries, you would still need to get a 7, but it needn't be a natural 7. (An SP or Calcs can make it easier.)
If you used Main Batteries on a sector with both Scar and a bunch of other raiders (not an issue right now of course), you can apply the results as works best; so on a 4-6, you didn't reach a 7 so you can't destroy Scar; you can use it to destroy two normal raiders. If you get 7-8, you can destroy 4 raiders, and as you got 7+, one of them can be Scar.
I could launch two more RSVs into Sector 5 and then move one into the sector with the civvies for more protection.
Remember, Command gives you two activations. Two launches and a move would equal three activations. You could launch one RSV and move it to Sector 4 if you wish.
