BSG (Tory of Tiny Town)
I play 2 cards.
BSG
That's everyone's play. Did the check pass? Fail? Massively overshoot? Let's find out. Cards played:
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 2
Guts and Initiative 2
Launch Scout 2
Launch Scout 2
Evasive Manoeuvre 2
Maximum Firepower 3
Investigative Committee 4
By Your Command 1
Tally: 16 - 5 = 11. Pass! The check brings you no effect. However... This was a Reckless check, and as a result, the By Your Command takes effect. Three things happen:
1. Raiders activate:
Advance to Sectors 5 and 6.
2. Heavy raiders activate:
One launches from each basestar.
3. Occupation forces activate:
Moves to Breeders Canyon.
The raiders are about to activate again, due to the crisis card's Cylon activation icon. The order in which they are activated could make a difference. Tory, as current player it's your choice. Do you wish to activate Sector 5 or Sector 6 first?
BSG (Tory)
Sector 5 first, please.
BSG
Sector 5 it is. The raiders fire on the RSVs:
Raider 1: 1. Miss.
Raider 2: 4. Miss.
Raider 3: 1. Miss.
Raider 4: 2. Miss.
Wow. Those are some sad raiders. Let's see if Sector 6 has any better luck:
Raider 1: 4. Miss.
Raider 2: 7. RSV damaged!
Raider 3: 8. RSV destroyed!
With the sector now clear of defenders, the last raider is free to attack the civilian ship directly. It contained:
Civilian ship A: 1 Population.
Population falls to 2. Another civvie must now be evacuated to either Sector 5 (containing 2 RSVs and 4 raiders) or Sector 6 (containing 4 raiders and no RSVs). Tory, where would you like to move it?
BSG
Oh, that's bad.
BSG
I think this is a pretty clear decision, so I'll assume Tory wants to evacuate the civvie to Sector 5, where it at least still has some cover. Tory, if you would rather Sector 6, let me know.
That concludes Tory's turn. Adama's cards are going out. Admiral Adama, when you're ready, pleas post your move and action.

Administrative note: Adama's card draw exhausted the Tactics deck. I've reshuffled the discards.
BSG (Adama)
Well this is just a bundle of crap now isn't it.
I can XO Gaeta to get a few more ships in the air, but then they are just targets. We can try to deal with some of the ships. I don't even know where to begin on this one.
BSG
Yeah, I don't know why it didn't occur to me, but the act of evacuating puts them in danger. And with population down to 2, we can't afford any losses at all. I guess someone could go up to Galactica or Pegasus and start afighting, but of course that negates the value of the XO. Not that I made particularly good use of the last XO.
