Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oh, we've got the Prima guide, and it's a very good one, for anyone who's into using game guides (I know some aren't). In this case, it was just the particular choice of book that amused me a whole big lot.

No Left 4 Dead for me. Co-op is not split-screen; you have to have 4 Xboxes to play 4 player co-op and 8 for the whole effect.

What happens anymore when you have friends over who want to play a game? Rock Band, D&D, and board games will never die.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Well Gears of War 2 can play co-op split screen.

Still, Left 4 Dead is really designed to be played with 4 boxes, and usually over Live.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Oh, my god, there's a Mortal Kombat/DC Comics crossover game? That's kind of awesome.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

You know, I don't why I've not mentioned this here before, as it's a natural, but I've been involved for a couple months in an ongoing Buffyverse role-playing game on LiveJournal. (I play Lorne and Ethan Rayne full-time, and I just ran the first major campaign, which entailed all out chaos, A Buffy vs. Angel smackdown, and a tour of the Rock And Roll Museum in Cleveland with Oz.

The game has its own continuity, diverged from the end of Buffy Season 7. If anyone's interested, there's a couple major characters available, including Gunn and Andrew. Info to get involved is here.

Yeah, we've played GoW co-op split screen, but only the two players.

I DL'd a couple trial games on the Xbox last night - Gauntlet and a pinball game. And my 3yo kicked my ass. As did Sox's 4yo.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

I taught my nephew Baby David to play Ultimate Spider-Man this weekend. Am I evil? He's actually almost three, and he's not allowed to punch or kick anyone, but he had a lot of fun making Spider-Man jump in the water and he actually managed to swing down the street, and move and jump at the same time. What worries me is that I spent my entire youth wanting to do nothing outdoors or indoors but play videogames, and I just exposed him to that. And the spectacle of a three-year-old in a dark basement pushing Playstation sticks is somewhat disturbing.

My sister says she'll never do it with him, so he'll just think of it as something to do when Uncle Noumenon comes over. Hope so. 'Cause video games are super fun, I wish I could safely share them with him.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I finished Fable II last week. It was a lot of fun, but it really didn't feel much longer than the original. I wanted a lot more gameplay. Did anyone else feel the same?
