Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

So you did. Which I swear I read. It just got by me.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

It doesn't really stand out. Unless you're the President, maybe. New Caprica can take some getting used to.

I have COs from the Admiral to play an SP-3 on the Detention die roll. Now, the wording of the die roll says "When you play a Quorum card", while the wording of Tory's Adaptable ability says "After any player uses the action on a Quorum card". The Detention roll therefore happens first, i.e. now:

Die roll: 7 + 2 = 9. Pass! The President remains free. Once Tory posts her choice of skill card draw, we'll move on to her crisis.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG (Tory)

2 Purple, please

and thanks for keeping me out of jail, Admiral.

Cards sent. The Cylons haven't brigged the President, but they're still looking to deliver a strongly worded memo. Tory's crisis is:

Meet Liaison Officer
Skill check (10 YP)

Possible interrupts: IC, SR, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play. You can also send me COs for the check itself.

edited because premature! But if we go for the check as I assume we will, I can both help and investigate.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Ellen)

I think that was a typo. The "Option 2" was supposed to be "Fail." It's a skill check. Start the investigation! I can help.

BSG (I, Gaeta)

Yes, I demand an investigation! Committee me! I play my IC3 as an interrupt.

Pass on interrupts.

I am presuming Tory can bat clean-up, given how positive she is for this check.

Long enough for interrupts. Everyone else passes. Destiny reveals:

Destiny: Consolidate Power 1, Maximum Firepower 3
Adama:
Boomer:
Ellen:
Gaeta:
Tory:

Running tally: 1 - 3 = -2. Fail. Adama is first to play.
