Ok, everyone passes on interrupts. The basestar has previously suffered structural damage, so the roll is at +2 anyway:
Die roll: 3 + 2 = 5. One hit!
Causing a...
Disabled Hangar!
The basestar hangs there still, taunting you. Gaeta fires again:
Die roll: 2 + 2 = 4. Third hit - basestar destroyed!
So that went well. But the fleet, are they ever happy? They're asking questions, why didn't the President arrange this on her turn? Adama's crisis is:
Ambushed by the Press
President's Choice
President Foster, when you're ready, please post your choice.
BSG (Tory "that's a lot of cards" Foster)
I thought I had a Major Victory but alas. I actually have a pretty shitty hand so I will bow to the will of the people.
BSG (Ellen of Tory)
We do keep taking Morale hits, which isn't great. I peeked ahead to New Caprica, and there is a pretty interesting location where we can sacrifice some of our highest resource (which is Morale or Food right now) to advance the jump track and get
Galactica
back more quickly so we can stop living with Boomer. So I figure it's worth it to keep our high resources high if we can. If your hand is crap, maybe we can save our Morale? You know your hand better than we do.
BSG
I thought I had a Major Victory but alas.
It wouldn't matter here. An MV needs to be played by the one who struck the killing blow, so here, Gaeta.
BSG (Killing Blow Gaeta!)
Yeah, I don't have one. My victory is only minor, apparently. I have found that to be the most frustrating card to have or not have.
Anyway, I have no opinion on the hit to take here. We've been pretty good on cards, and Tory can be a card generating machine working the quorum, but it is her whole hand, and it's hard to say what New Caprica's getting ready to bring us.
BSG (Two-Minds Tory)
Thinking it over, although a lot of my cards are small, some of them are really useful. It's a gamble either way but I think I can save more morale in the future if I keep my hand.
Yes I realize you're upset but when are you people going to realize that my needs are more important than your own? A happy president is a happy populace. Or something like that.
I
choose Option 1
BSG
Morale drops by 1 as Tory evades the ambush. The raiders also advance, but they're too late as the FTL drive spools up. The fleet jumps! Destinations sent to the Admiral. Admiral Adama, when you're ready, please post your choice.
BSG
Adama has chosen! Your destination is:
Radioactive Cloud
Distance: 2
Fuel and Population both drop by 1. In the midst of that cloud, you discover a habitable planet! Welcome human and Cylon alike to New Caprica. Be sure to check out the amenities.
Finally, Adama finishes the turn with 11 cards, and must discard one. He has chosen: Iron Will 0
That concludes Adama's turn. Boomer has opted to draw 1 Red and 1 Treachery. She has left COs for her turn, which will be enacted shortly.

Boomer's COs are as follows:
Move: none
Action: Activate Occupation Authority
Activating the Occupation Authority does two things. First, occupation forces are activated. As there are no occupation forces on the board, one is placed on Occupation Authority. Next, an OF is placed on Occupation Authority, for a total of two.
That concludes Boomer's turn. Ellen's cards are going out. Ellen, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
