BSG (Gaeta, Explained)
Okay, it's late, and I don't know if anyone's around to confer, but I'm going to be super busy all day tomorrow so I'm going to act kinda unilaterally here. Hope it works out okay. Honorable gamemaster, please tell me if anything I am trying to do is illegal and I will amend!
For my
movement phase, I play PP4 to prevent loss of population this turn.
(Is population a resource?)
For my
action phase, I activate Pegasus CIC to attack the basestar in Sector 1.
I also
play my SP3 as an interrupt on the die roll.
BSG
That is indeed all legal. This is CIC's first shot after being patched up. Let's see if it's in proper working order.
Die roll: 2 + 2 = 4. One hit!
Just as well you had that SP. What did you hit? ...You did
Structural Damage.
All future attacks against this basestar will be made at +2.
That was cool. Kersplosions are always cool. What could be better than a kersplosion? ...How about
two
kersplosions? Gaeta's crisis is:
Hangar Accident
Skill Check (10 PRB)
Possible interrupts: IC, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play. You can also send me COs for the check itself. Tory plays first, Gaeta last.
BSG (Ellen)
Wow, way to be psychic, Gaeta! And nice shooting. Pass on interrupts, and I can't help with this check at all.
BSG
I have passes from everyone. Let's begin.
Destiny:
2 cards
Tory:
Adama:
Boomer:
Ellen:
(COs received)
Gaeta:
(COs received)
Tory is first to play. Once again, post the number of cards you play, and send me the details.
Random BSG-related question? Is it possible to play a PP against Population to protect against Population loss on an early jump? I haven't seen the card, so I don't know if it protects against 1 loss, or all losses. If the latter, wow.

It protects against only 1 point of loss, but you can use it to safeguard an early jump. If you jump at -3, you only risk 2 Pop; if you jump at -1, you don't risk any Population at all.
BSG (Tory, where's your committee now?)
Alas I can't help at all.
I
play no cards.

BSG
I now have everyone's play:
Destiny:

Tory:
0 cards
Adama:
1 card
Boomer:
1 card
Ellen:
0 cards
Gaeta:
1 card
Let's see what turned up:
Launch Scout 2
Run Interference 5
Repair 2
Broadcast Location 1
Broadcast Location 1
Tally: 9 - 2 = 7. Partial Pass.
Courtesy of Gaeta's Preventative Policy, the Population loss is nullified. No effect!
The heavy raiders advances, as does the jump track. That concludes Gaeta's turn. Tory's cards are going out. President Foster, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
