Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

Actually, with JUST the right cards in Destiny, I could make it -22!

Hmm. Well, it's a risk either way, I suppose. We definitely don't want to go for it and fail, thus losing cards and morale. The Cylon check is kinda unhelpful at this point: I've been (at least halfway) checked and the fact that the Admiral told the truth about that leads me to believe he's clean (of course he could be telling the truth as a Cylon, but I really haven't seen any evidence in that direction.) Our president has lots of cards, but again, if she's a Cylon, has been playing it pretty straight. At any rate, it's a low check number, so we could go for it, but as noted, it could escalate into a lot of cards spent, without an IC.

So yeah, tank or discard. I can afford the discard, personally, because my turn is coming up. But I don't know that we want to be running Tory completely out.

That was a lot of talky. I guess I'm leaning toward tanking. I think it's a risk, and I'm never happy deliberately losing resources. I'm still upset about the population loss from the jump. And New Caprica is a pretty serious unknown as far as how resources will shake down there. But all that said, I think tanking might be our best option here.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Ellen)

The people have spoken. I choose Option 1.

And I pass on interrupts and vote to TANK.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ellen has chosen the skill check. We're now looking for interrupts (IC, SR, Reckless). There are two votes to TANK, Gaeta and Adama to chime in. They've both suggested tanking; will you make it official?

That's all humans. Tankage ensues! Congratulations, that's your first failed skill check. (There's another one that technically failed, but was Iron Willed out of any outcomes.) Destiny reveals:

Consolidate Power 1
Repair 1

Tally: 1 - 1 = 0. Fail. Morale falls by 1, and Ellen gets to check one loyalty card of (by CO) the President. Card is being sent.

That concludes Ellen's turn. Gaeta has opted to draw 1Y/1G. Mr Gaeta, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

One last matter: Adama finishes the turn with 11 cards in hand, and must therefore discard 1 card. Admiral, when you're ready, please post your discard.
