Reminder: there is still a limit of one XO per turn. The SoE does not count towards this limit; therefore, it is still open for
one
(human) player to play an XO as their action.

FRAK. Tory, if you're able to try, that would be great. Gaeta and Adama should be moving Vipers around and shooting at things. I am afraid of whatever Boomer didn't bury.

I do have an XO that I could use during this. It seems prudent. Who would best be served by the extra action?

My plan was for Gaeta to activate Command, and then you XO him to activate Command twice. Without a pilot, we need to get the RSVs to protect those civvies. I can only assume that Boomer left us a Crisis to activate Raiders. We have no EMs. If those Raiders activate, unless all four of them miss that 1 RSV, we lose that civvie.
I am also in Command, the other option being for me to activate it once and then use the other action to draw some Piloting in hopes of getting some EMs. But it's a gamble.
I mean, honestly, Gaeta could just have that one Viper fire six times and hope to take out most of the Raiders. Offense vs. Defense. I'll leave it to him to choose the strategy.
Oh, Tory, you're back in the President's Office?! Oh, good, then maybe you have magic Quorum powers to help us in this emergency.

Technically, if three of them miss, then the fourth one spends its action whacking the RSV, and the civvie would survive to see another turn.

I'd say I should activate Command defensively at this point, and if the Admiral would like to XO me, then I could activate it offensively then.
As to the future, remember I have my character FTL reroll.

Unfortunately the quorum seems to be all about speechifying and protecting the office of president at the moment. I will try to work with them when my turn comes around to develop some more offensive strategies.

I'm glad I saved it. I was considering declaring a really boring emergency earlier just to use it, but—ironically—it was Adama's turn, so I was afraid Boomer might reveal. Of course, I'm giving her a Cylon turn right now anyway, but this time it's worth it.
I'd say I should activate Command defensively at this point, and if the Admiral would like to XO me, then I could activate it offensively then.
