You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

All the votes are now in. Results:

Destiny: By a vote of 4-1, we will use the modified, 18-card destiny.

Loyalties: By a vote of 3-2, we will use the Exodus loyalties. There will always be at least one card left in the loyalty deck, and executed characters get a new loyalty card for the replacement.

Nukes: By a vote of 4-1, we will use the Cylon Fleet nukes. The nukes have a chance of destroying everything (hostile and friendly) in the sector at which it is fired. (In the words of P-C, "because that's how nukes WORK".)

Investigative Committees: By a vote of 3-2, we will use the standard game ICs, which reveal Destiny.

Uhhhhhh.....What...Why am I in the Armory? (looks down) And why am I soaking wet? (Tries to remember the last thing the Chief suggested they try) Wait - what's that on the PA?

Gaeta: Action stations, action stations, this is not a drill. Set condition One throughout the ship, this is not a drill. All Viper pilots to your birds.

Crap! With the others off on Caprica, I'm the most experienced pilot here! Those nuggets don't stand a chance by themselves!

I will Move to the Hanger deck

Launch in a Viper into Sector 5,

and Move to Sector 4 to cover the civvies.

If someone could get to Command and get the nuggets to back me up, that'd be nice.

Boomer moves to Sector 4; possibly just in time. Don't you just hate it when you start a long trip and realise you've left something you need back home? Boomer's crisis is:

Rescue the Fleet
Admiral's Choice

Admiral Adama, when you're ready, please post your choice.

Hey, Admiral...whooops, hey, what are you and Mrs. Tigh doing in there together? And why am I talking to you like I'm in the same room as you? I don't really know! But anyway...

Tough choice to start with, sir, really testing the old mettle there. Since we've just got the one (potentially questionable) pilot and all, I recommend going with the population hit. We don't really like all those people, anyway, right, and hey, a few fewer mouths to feed.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Ellen)

Bill, those ships could cost us more than a little old human sacrifice. Just give those big bad robots what they want and come back to bed.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG (Tory)

Won't someone please think of the children? Who will continue to drag us down if we don't cut them loose now...

But seriously I think this is the sort of choice that you only find out was right after you see the next crisis card. I'm leaning towards the pop loss (especially considering our piloting dearth) but maybe we can weather two base stars without losing two pop? I'm just not sure.

BSG (Gaeta)

Yeah, it's definitely a lose-lose...almost as if the game were designed that way...

But the point is valid, a 2 pop hit is a significant hit, and all the metal out there is only a potential hit. So I could be swayed. But it's early in the game and of course now all our resources are high, so it's going to be hard to make a call.

Two basestars will also mean double the basestar activations when they start shooting at us and launching Raiders. This early in the jump cycle, I wouldn't want to add more ships to the board when we could get a bona fide Attack card at any time.

That being said, it does all depend on the cards. Lose-lose, like you said.

I lean towards the population hit.

Ellen, stop stealing the covers.

I don't know what to tell you guys, but it's pretty lonely out here. But I'd kind of like to not have more company of the shooting-at-me kind.
