I am game for any of them. Either or both of the Pegasus options would be fun to try out. The Exodus ones seem more complicated for now.
I want to be Six!
I'm game for more.
I am game for any of them. Either or both of the Pegasus options would be fun to try out. The Exodus ones seem more complicated for now.
My assessment there:
Of all the available modules of both sets, Conflicted Loyalties is undoubtedly the easiest to use and implement. Cylon Leader is next easiest. The other three (New Caprica, Cylon Fleet Board, Ionian Nebula) all add significantly to the game's complexity, and make it a fairly different experience. Ionian Nebula is probably the most complex.
When I first read it over I thought cylon leaders sounded too complicated but the two additions that sound the most fun to me (New Caprica and Cylon Feet) turn out to be more complicated. I'm all for simplicity but I really like the added peril (and realism) of relentless cylon pursuit. It would certainly make it a lot less likely for Team Human to win in a walk.
I think I'd probably be more interested in the Pegasus modules before the Exodus ones. I think I'd want to do those too eventually, but I don't want to add too much complexity all at once.
We could probably do both Pegasus modules at once, really, since New Caprica doesn't affect the game at all until the end.
I could go for CL and CL, and maybe CF, since that's mostly new bookkeeping for the GM. I think I'd vote against either new destination, at least for now.
Sounds like there's some interest in expanding the options for the next game. I'm thinking the first step is to whittle down all the options to the ones in which there's strong interest. Then we can work out what to do from there. (I recommend we add one, and strongly recommend against adding more than two.)
So, could everyone indicate, for each available element, whether you think it should be under consideration, or ruled out. Voting on:
Cylon Leader
New Caprica
Conflicted Loyalties
Cylon Fleet
Ionian Nebula
Cylon Leader: Consider
New Caprica: Consider
Conflicted Loyalties: Consider
Cylon Fleet: Out
Ionian Nebula: Out
