I have everyone's play. Let's see how this super crisis plays out:
Destiny:
2 cards
Tory:
6 cards
Helo:
0 cards
Apollo:
0 cards
Chief:
1 card
Anders:
2 cards
Gaeta:
1 card
Cards played:
Consolidate Power 1
Consolidate Power 2
Consolidate Power 2
Political Prowess 6
Trust Instincts 0
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 2
Executive Order 1
At Any Cost 3
Evasive Maneouvre 1
Tally: 16 - 5 = 11. Partial pass. However! The check includes a Trust Instincts 0, which activates. Destiny adds another two cards to the check:
Broadcast Location 1
Maximum Firepower 3
Thanks to the AAC played on this check, the BL-1 counts positive. The tally drops by 2 to 9 - still a partial pass. Food falls to 3, but the OPGs are saved.
That's it, then. Is it? Not quite - because the check is Reckless, the BL-1 now triggers. A basestar appears in Sector 1; another civvie pops into Sector 4.
The end-of-turn summary will have to wait; I need to get to class. Meanwhile, Tory's cards are going out. Tory, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
BSG
Well, that was...something. And now Tory's fears about the civvies in Sector 1 are relevant. But, hey, we're jumping soon. I hope.

Dear Persons of Toastfulness,
Before you wind up in the machine shop due to back-patting related damage, let me point something out: You have now expended both your Super Crises, and done less damage to our resources than Apollo did with his Emergencies. On spending cards, I am currently holding one two three four five six pretty pretty cards, over half what I'd be required to have at the end of last turn anyway.
As for your sparkly new toy in Sector One, it's about to get left behind with the rest of your fleet. Which reminds me - Thank you for the going-away present, Felix. If you hadn't set the FTL track back, we'd have auto-jumped before Besieged showed up, and be facing a full jump cycle before we could escape. I'm sure Athena must have shone her wisdom on you that day.
Now if you'll excuse me, I've had some officers sent to my office for "private consultation", and then I have a deck to stack.
XXXOOO
President Foster

Do I need to remind you that I still have another Super Crisis?
BSG
To wit:
I Move to the President's Office and Activate my OPG to look at and restack the next 5 Quorum cards.

looks the other way as several eager young officers depart the bridge.

I have to say "We can punch ourselves in the face harder than you just hit us" is a pretty funny taunt. Silly humans.
augh DDO is down! augh!
Lol. One of my fellow complainers on Facebook is named Drizzt.

Half a point for finding decent comebacks.
