We are also waiting on the ruling on playing the Major Victory.

In order to play a Major Victory, it has to be you personally who destroyed the basestar or Centurion. Since Anders blew up the basestar, I'm afraid Helo can't play the MV.

I will Activate the Pres' Office, draw one Quorum card, play Assign Mission Specialist on Helo, and draw 2 Green.

Problem: Tory starts the game in the Press Room; you're not yet in the President's Office. You can still use your action to Assign Mission Specialist, you just can't draw another Quorum card in the process. Do you wish to do that?

I'm more miffed about losing all my good cards. Which I still don't understand! Why did that happen??

It's part of the impact of the Chief's reveal. He gets to choose any player on Galactica (good thing you landed!). That player discards five cards and goes to Sickbay. The discards are random because of your weakness.

Once we get confirmation on Tory's action, we'll finish this Emergency and get on to Apollo's crisis.

You editing bastard.

Fine. I play Mission Specialist on Helo, and draw two Green.

Guys! XOs will let me build up my hand! Which we DESPERATELY NEED right now!

Phew! That was eventful, wasn't it? I mean, it didn't look like it was an emergency at the start of Apollo's turn, but looking back, I think we can all agree that he knew better.

But how did Apollo know better? Seems someone's been telling him some:

Apollo, when you're ready, please post your choice.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG

Frak the skill check. I choose Option 2.

Well that's tricky. Given the way we've been hemorrhaging cards, I'd almost say pick 2 and save them for later.

Also, billytea, didn't Chief send me something?

A couple of other rules questions:

Well, at least we flushed out both Cylons. In this rule set, are there possibility of more? Or is two the maximum?

There's still a hard maximum of only two Cylons. At this point, everyone's loyalty is known.

We need to jump. Is it safe to say, ignore the damage to Pegasus? Having not played with it before, not sure it's ramifications. Loss only happens with excessive damage to G, right?

That is correct. You can lose Pegasus without losing the game.

Back to the (in)action, as Apollo eschews the skill check in favour of just making everyone feel sad. Morale falls to 5. Finally, the jump track advances by 1. That concludes Apollo's Very Eventful Turn. The Chief is up next, and he has opted to draw Treachery. Chief, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

I move to Caprica and play my Super Crisis Card.
