I have COs to pass on interrupts from the remaining crew. That was quick! The check begins. I have one CO, from Apollo. Who's up first. Here we go:

Zarek:
Helo:
The Chief is up next.

Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 1
Strategic Planning 3
Critical Situation 4
Political Prowess 6
Repair 2
Build Nuke 6
Tally: 16 - 14 = 2. Fail!
However! Helo comes to the rescue with a DE-3! This reduces the DC to 5. As the check total of 2 is now within 4 of the DC, the Iron Wills played into the check take effect and prevent the fail effect from occurring.
Check result: no effect!
That concludes Helo's turn. Apollo has opted to draw 2 Yellow for his optional draw. Apollo, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

That... could have been worse.

Oy. That's a lot of cards.
BSG
Cripes. Too bad no one threw in Red Tape.
Well, my friends, we have our first Cylon spike. Three negative cards. Two could come from Destiny, but I am not discounting the possibility that two Cylons spiked this check, as it was the first good opportunity in a long time. Spikes were Yellow and Blue. This means Anders and Helo are clear (and I trust Helo because of the DE anyway). Funnily enough, it seems that given the number of cards he played, I could make a baseful accusation against our dear President, but it could just as well be Chief and/or Gaeta. Wait, what am I saying, Zarek stood to lose all his cards on this check. It's Chief and/or Gaeta.
I'm still mulling over what to do on my turn. I didn't draw the right cards, but I have a full hand. If I draw a card and get a Crisis that doesn't let me play a card into a check, I'll have to discard randomly, and I could lose a good card.

Not that I suspect anyone at this point, but knowing what a tricksy cylon P-C has been in the past, I feel I should point out that Apollo can draw yellow. But I can't recall if he has so far.
(I mean, of course I suspect
someone
just no one in particular at this point.)
