Cylon Refinery it is. The Admiral may choose to risk 2 vipers for a chance to gain 2 Fuel. Admiral, when you're ready, please post your choice. If Helo decides to try for the extra Fuel, there will be a die roll. Everyone with an SP or Calcs, please send me COs to pass or play.
BSG
Unless anyone would like to volunteer an SP, I'm not sure it's worth risking the Vipers on a die roll.
BSG
I can't help with the die roll. I could repair Vipers that get damaged, though.
BSG
I'd hate to waste the chance of extra fuel so early in the game. I say go for it. Chief can repair if they get damaged. That's a lot of fuel!
BSG
Admiral, the President respectfully advises you to go for it. Risking your pilot's lives now may save thousands in the near future. That.....IS what the military is here for, is it not?
BSG
shoot! sorry, I thought the die roll was automatic. Go get us some fuel, pilots.
roll it!
BSG
Per CO, Gaeta plays an SP-4. The vipers make their approach:
Die roll: 7 + 2 = 9. Pass!
Fuel is on its way up.
I know what you're thinking: that was all too easy, wasn't it? Not really;
this
is all too easy. Gaeta's crisis is:
Weapon Malfunction
Skill Check (11 PRB)
Here's the deal: if you pass this check, there's no effect. If you fail it, there's no effect. There's no effect from the Cylon activation, and there's no jump icon. You've hit the crisis equivalent of Free Parking. I'll give you all some time to declare whether you still want to try the check, for whatever reason; if no one says they do, I will declare this check tanked and move on.
