Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

Our wings are not tired

BSG

So sorry for delaying things. I've been on vacation and have been neglecting this game.

I was hopeful that I'd be able to XO someone to get the extra actions, but that is sadly not an option. What do we have to do to spring someone from the brig? Do I have options to get that started? I could also push the FTL jump, or I could move and take a shot at the base star.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

I think you can move to the brig and initiate a brig check but we've got some time before Anders' turn comes up again, perhaps we should try again with the quorum on Zarek's turn.

If it was up to me, I would go activate the FTL

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG

Only Anders can activate the Brig, so without an XO, that's not an option. I'm kind of leaning toward pushing the jump. Taking one shot at the basestar is kind of pointless if your Crisis Card jumps us, and if it doesn't jump us, boy, we sure wish we would have jumped already. The only reason to fire at the basestar is to attempt to destroy it before we jump, and we can't keep ourselves from jumping early. It is more likely that we will jump before we destroy the basestar at this point, so let's get one-up on the jump track if we can.

I think you can move to the brig

You cannot move to the Brig or Sickbay.

If you had the card that lets you take an action instead of moving you could activate an RSV to attack the base star.

If not, I see no reason not to jump.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

SO, sorry to interrupt at the BSG-ing going on here, but anyone out there playing Words With Friends on their phone? I need more friends to play it with!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

Just to confirm a few rules issues:

1. It takes four damage tokens to destroy Pegasus. It currently has two damage tokens.

2. You may not move to the Brig (or Sickbay) voluntarily.

3. You may not initiate a Brig check on behalf of someone else. Only the player trying to escape the Brig can start that check.

Finally, two courses of action that have been suggested are taking a shot at the basestar or activating FTL Control, both of which involve a die roll. Anyone with an SP or Calcs, feel free to send me COs as to whether you pass or play in either case.

When we jump, I get plopped back in the Hangar Deck, right?

Correct. Consider yourself plopped, Aploppo.

I have passes on interrupts from everyone else, so let's roll:

Die roll: 7. Pass! The entire fleet makes it safely to: ok, this is awkward. Your destination is the Admiral's choice. Remember the Admiral? That guy you left stranded at the start of this jaunt. Maybe you'd better choose somewhere close to Caprica so he can find you all. Admiral Agathon, when you're ready, please post your choice of destination.

Final ordre of business: as you have jumped before a basestar or civilian ship was destroyed, Thirty Three gets reshuffled back into the crisis deck. Look at all those crises that were coming up. "Hooch and Slatterns", "Pillow Fight", "Land of Puppies and Unicorns where Nothing Bad Ever Happens" - alas, all now shuffled back into the deck. Oh well, I'm sure the crises you get instead will be just as nice.
