I'd put killing the basestar under "good idea but not critical." As far as Cylon Attacks go, 33 is annoying but not dangerous by itself.(One basestar + raider activation)

But we do still need Pegasus repaired and there could be an unlucky run of jump-icon-free crises ahead.

Someone could always hit FTL. Mr Gaeta can make that less risky than it might be. We've still got Weapons Control to shoot basestars with while the CIC is out of commission.
I would not love to be out of cards again so quickly.

I would appreciate being XOd out of Sickbay before my turn, only drawing one card would really suck.

I can XO the Chief out of Sickbay, and get him either back to Pegasus or to FTL. Alternatively, we could wait until Helo's turn and have two rerolls available.
On the gripping hand, we are at max Pop with only 1 at risk from a jump.
