I can help with this check, but it would wipe me out, as I have only 2 cards. BT, refresh my memory, as someone in the brig, do I draw limited skill cards? Or is it same draw, just no crisis. If it's no draw, I'm hesitant to toss my cards in. BUT this is an awesome check. We NEED to pass this. Adding a distance is HUGE.

BT, refresh my memory, as someone in the brig, do I draw limited skill cards?
While you're in the Brig, you receive your normal card draw, but may play no more than 1 skill card into any skill check (including the check to escape the Brig).

I can help a lot on this check if we want to go for it.
As for interrupts, I'm not sure whether it's better for Zarek to lower it to 10 or for me to play an IC so we can see Destiny and know where we stand. I am kind of leaning toward the latter because with a check this big, we could easily overshoot out of fear.
I agree that passing this check would be great. I sure wish it came with a Jump icon, though, but you can't have everything.

I'd say if you can play an IC, that would be great. I'd hate to overshoot it. Heck, I'd hate for Destiny to screw us, and undershoot it too!
As for lack of jump icon. Dude! It's like 5 jump icons. It's a free jump!

Frak it, let's do this, guys: I play IC-3.
I voted against old-school ICs, but I sure am glad we're using them right now: let's take a look at that Destiny! It sure would be nice if it's positive.
(If Destiny shows Red Tape, I would advise we let it go unless the other card is worth a positive 4 or something. It's going to be hard to get to 14 without 5s and 6s, with our current handicaps. I would also be afraid of attempting it if Destiny is more than 3 or 4 negative. I don't know how much everyone can help, but at least we'll know the score. Although Anders is right, this is a free jump! LET'S DO THIS.)
