If Gatea plans to XO somebody, he could move to Comms first, then be ready for an XO there.

That was my thinking, move somewhere useful and then issue an XO. Who is our best best for an XO? Comms does seem to be a good place for me to be located, but Command could also be a good one so that I'd be ready to activate the Vipers.
Hm. If Apollo moves to Sector 4, can he then play Full Throttle and move to Sector 3? Then he'd be ready to ambush the raiders if they activate again.
BSG
An XO to me could get me to Sector 3, or to Sector 4 with one more card than I have right now.
It may seem dumb, but an XO to Chief would likely take out two Raiders.

If I had Full Throttle, I could do wonderful things! But I don't. I can move to Sector 3 normally, though, since moving is an action.
Ha, I could try something that would be kind of awesome if I drew the right cards and still fairly useful if I didn't. No guts, no glory!

Hey jailer, can I get a harmonica?
no can do Longshot. Last guy who asked for one nearly inhaled it and died. No more harmonicas allowed. But we got this hear guitar. I can let you play it, if you promise to not use the strings to hang yourself with.
But, I dunno how to play the guitar.
Suit yourself then.
NO WAIT! I'll take it. What else do I have to do, I can learn, right?

There must be some way out of here...

Hey look, I guess I can play a little. Who knew?!
GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!

That's not the way out.....
Is my singing that bad? Well, I only figured out one chord, so, I guess I'll put it down. No harm no foul.

I'm thinking of renaming Zarek's "Friends in Low Places" as "Groupies in the Mosh Pit".

Apropos of nothing, I was reading the past few days of posts and found P-C's comment about what a motley crew we were picking, and he really wasn't wrong: Two Final Fivers, a mutineer, a convicted terrorist, a toaster-frakker, and the man who gave us the word "Leemo".
(Spellcheck knows "Fivers" but not "spellcheck". Go figure)
Of course you could probably pick any six characters from the show at random and get an eyeroll-worthy mix......
ThomasW, sorry for the slow reply, I'm not here that often...
Started at Alpha. Hmm ... I don't suppose you still have any of those cards, do you? :D
Oh, don't get me started. I have every card from Alpha to Invasion. I own four of the Block Lotus; 1 Alpha, 1 Beta and 2 Unlimited. And a dozen or so of Mox.
What kinds of decks did you make? Silly combo things that just weren't consistent enough to be workable? Or just aggro decks that had the mana curve wrong somehow?
Just crap ones. The term "aggro deck" didn't even exist by the time I quit.
