Oh shit, I peeked! Choice A says that if you destroyed a basestar, we all get to draw a bunch of cards, and Choice B says that if you did not destroy a basestar, we all get to draw a bunch of cards.

Curses! I've been found out! Of course, they're all Treachery, but hey! Cards are cards, right?
BSG
Oh, sorry, I forgot to leave my second-verse-same-as-the-first COs in case of miss. Fire again, please. This time with more boom.
BSG
More boom? Chief, I'm beginning to think you may have a boom addiction. Anyway, I have passes on interrupts left over from last time, so:
Die roll: 8. Basestar destroyed!
Ok, now you can all look at the crisis email. It's still:
Code Blue
Current Player's Choice
Anders, when you're ready, please post your choice.
BSG
Yay boom!
Well, both those options kind of suck. But, Jump Prep is always nice.
I can't help with the check if we go that route, but otoh, I don't lose anything if we discard, so...my point is, I don't have any business having an opinion. I'm just going to keep busy tightening up the aim on this thing, don't mind me.
BSG
Oh, yuck.
Option 2 will leave everybody with a hand consisting of 2 Treachery, which sounds like a formula for disaster.
On the other hand, after that last check I don't think we have the cards to pass Option 1. I hate to say it, but tanking the check may be our best option. Note that while I don't currently have the pull with the Quorum to get someone out without a skill check, if I move to the President's Office on my turn and XO someone, I can then be XO'd to draw up to 4 Quorum cards.
BSG
Either way we lose all our cards. Should we just go for it? I think we're better off losing morale and having a player in sickbay than we are with 12 brand new treachery crads in our hands.
BSG
Out of the Brig, I mean
BSG
oh frak the brig. Yeah that is worse than sickbay.
Still at work... um.. working... Maybe I should put that in quotes... "working". My cheat sheet is at home, but the e-mail said nobody has more than 2 cards anyhow.
This is tough. I'd rather not go to the brig. I'm leaning towards option 1. It's a matter do we tank it or not. Do we have a way to get me out in a timely manner? :: bats eyelashes in a come-hither way ::
Option 2 would leave us all high and dry for awhile. Which doesn't seem like a good idea either.
I'm thinking take one for the team here.
BSG
Option 1: Skill check (13 YGP)
IF we want to tank it, I'm ok with that. Not happy, mind you, but ok. I have never seen the treachery cards in action, but something tells me it ain't pretty. And I'd rather not have only treachery cards to play.
(gosh, you forget to say "OVER" at the end of the transmission, and they brig you! WTF?!?)
