You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Marines, go medieval on that Centurion.

Sadly, due to a tragic misunderstanding, the Marines are later found composing courtly ballads to the Centurion. The attempts to engage it in a joust, while closer to the original intent, have equally disappointing results.

Meanwhile, I have passes on interrupts all round. Let's see just how brutal the Marines were.

Die roll = 6. No effect. At the last minute, the suggestion to take out one of the Centurions by "Ramming Cloud 9 into the nearest bulkhead" is nixed! The Population is saved!

Nonetheless, both the civilian populace and the military leadership are appalled to hear just how close they came to destroying a ship full of innocent civilians/scratching their favourite battlestar. Pradmiral Tigh, something has to be done about... um, Pradmiral Tigh. Huh? Your Crisis is:

Requested Resignation
Admiral's Choice

Pradmiral Tigh, when you're ready, please post your choice.

Those courtly ballads (along with this mead someone turned up) have moved me to yield the Presidency to myself. Way to go, self. Right back atcha, me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ha ha ha ha ha BEST CRISIS EVER.

Except for the lack of Jump Prep. Alas.

Think I should go for the early jump now that we've taken out a Centurion, Tigh?

Probably. We have Tory to withstand first, of course. She could do something unexpected that would change that. But barring surprises, yeah, getting out of here sounds good.

Pradmiral Tigh survivies the attempts to fragment his psyche into distinct personae. He remains President, Admiral and Disco King.

That concludes Tigh's turn. Tory, you may draw two cards of any (different) colours. When you're ready, please post your choice.

Kat, do you have a card you wouldn't mind discarding? I have to discard randomly, so I was thinking that if I get an XO, I could XO you to make the jump, unless I have a shitty hand and don't care what I lose.

BSG

Per the FAQ, Apollo's random discard doesn't apply to discarding a card to move between ships. The reasoning is that it's optional whether Apollo moves, so he isn't forced to discard.
