Sod shame, Faux-Omnis. Just go buy yourself TF2!
Sod shame, Faux-Omnis.
No, bugger shame. It'll be mortified!
A friend just wrote me the following:
"Hey, X-Factor's going gaga over Diablo 3. You played Diablo 1 and 2, right? They look just like Baldur's Gate, so I'm thinking I might like Diablo. Is it turn-based, or RTS?"
I can't come up with any answer other than "No."
"Hell no." seems thematically appropriate.
Is it turn-based, or RTS?
::cackles ridiculously::
I LOVE Team Fortress 2! I used to play the first Team Fortress back 10 years from my bedroom as a kid. I was a spy in a clan. I didn't have much sex back then.
Diablo is real time without the strategy. You click on stuff until it dies and shop. I haven't played Diablo 2 any, but I don't think it's all that different.
I've had fun playing TF2, but I just don't have the time to play it much. I'm PC though, so I can't join in with the XBox people.
This is almost enough to make me wish I cared about chess: [link]
Diablo 2 is also a shopping game. They are more "World of Warcraft" than "Warcraft."
Our houseguest's departure for Baghdad got delayed, so we have a chance to pack her off with a copy of Tigris and Euphrates, rather than trying to send it to her later.
