Tory? Do you have an opinion on what I should do now? Will a little bit of help make a difference, you think?

BSG
Yeah, I could use the help, for sure. I am still too sleep deprivation addled to do the math on what happened that last check, but as far as this one goes, a little bit and friendly destiny might make all the difference in the world.
BSG
Okay, then, LS-1.
BSG
Okay, thanks. I play LS2, SP4, XO2, IC3, and hope that Destiny isn't negative.

Well, there were four Yellow cards. You and Cally are the only ones who draw Yellow. You played four cards between you. I don't believe Destiny had any Yellow, but Destiny could be responsible for at most one of them. There was a check where neither you nor Cally played, and we saw Yellow, so that one definitely came from Destiny.
If you have any arguments for your not being a toaster, I would like to hear them. I would prefer it if you weren't a Cylon, but that's what the cards are saying. (And although it's likely a coincidence, it's amusing you made Cally your Chief of Staff.)
BSG
That gives us a tally of exactly 12. Destiny is... favourable! It adds:
Iron Will 0
Launch Scout 2
Cards played:
Investigative Committee 3
Iron Will 0
Executive Order 2
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 2
Launch Scout 2
Strategic Planning 4
Tally: 14 - 0 = 14. Pass! Note too that even if the check had failed by up to 4 points, the Iron Will would have prevented the fail effect from triggering.
Finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Tory's turn. Starbuck has opted to draw Green for her optional draw. Starbuck, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Tory: President's Office
Not anymore.
Well, frak. My hand is not really strong enough to attempt to brig Cally all on my own.
Tigh, have you had time to think? While I have very good reason to believe that Kat is human, there is still the off-chance that I'm wrong about Tory and she just likes spiking checks for fun, I don't know. The checks that have been spiked, she hasn't spiked, but that only means she's not ONE of the Cylons. It would be nice to XO her to pump Research Lab for more Blue.
I'm also afraid Cally may shoot me under the pretense of "thinking I'm a Cylon," so I'm afraid of going to the Research Lab.
I think we may be frakked very soon, and I'm not sure what to do.
BSG
I'm happy to lower the difficulty to brig anyone who isn't me at this point, but that's all I'd be able to do.
If it's any consolation, if Cally really wants to shoot you, your not going to Research Lab would just make her move to do so, it wouldn't necessarily keep you alive.
If you're really suspicious of Tory, you can XO me and I can take the Presidency.

Yeah, I don't think that will be enough help, unfortunately.

That's why I'm considering launching into a Viper to get away from her. Of course, we are likely to jump after my turn, but better safe than sorry, especially if we're attacked before we jump. Plus, it's fun.
If you're really suspicious of Tory, you can XO me and I can take the Presidency.
Oh! I am really suspicious of her! That sounds like fun! As a bonus, you'll be able to see if she's been hoarding any Quorum Cards that would have been useful to play earlier, AND there might be a brigging or executing card we can use.
Man, I hate that we have to deal with the internal Cylon threat rather than repair our frakking Vipers, but it's an investment in our future.
I launch into Sector 5 and play XO-1 on Tigh.
Of course, I don't know whether you should move to the Admiral's Quarters or the President's Office. Or launch a scout, if you have one.
