We have a little time before Cally's next turn, maybe we'll be able to brig her without activating the Admiral's quarters.
And maybe she'll be able to spike a check that we actually fail. I really hate that our best source of Repair cards turned out to be a Cylon. Hell, she may be holding some, for all I know.
I do see your point about waiting, but it's risky when we don't know what the Crises will bring us.
I pass on interrupts and can't help with the check.

I could make your other Blue card count double, too, if that would help, though it could be overkill. Also, it would keep Cally from being able to use any Blue to save herself.
By my count, there's a 50% chance Destiny will be positive for the check. We do have a very low threshold to pass, but we have to fight against whatever Cally has in her hand. If we use SR, all she can play negatively is Yellow.
It's also very convenient again that the person doing all the accusing can't help with the check.
How is that convenient? I WANT you in the Brig. I would love to help put you there. This is inconvenient. And Tigh is doing some of the accusing as well, don't forget.
