Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG

Nooooo, not Susan!! At least we had a good Scouting mission. Sure, we would have gotten that Crisis either way, but this way we felt good about it.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The Admiral sacrifices a raptor to the gods of safe passage, as the fleet travels 2 Distance. That concludes Tory's turn. She has 11 cards in hand, and so must discard one; she discards a Consolidate Power 1.

Starbuck has chosen to draw Engineering for her optional draw. Starbuck, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Frak. No Repair cards. Skies are empty, but we're going to have to repair those Vipers if we have any hope of defending ourselves. And as much as I would like to remain in the Hangar Deck to be ready to launch, I can't really do anything from where I am.

I move to Research Lab and draw Engineering.

That's awesome. I never finished Portal, I should get on that.

Starbuck's research draw has been sent. And you'll never guess who she meets in there, it's the A Team! Look at that. Well, one of them anyway. Starbuck's crisis is:

Current Player's Choice

Starbuck, when you're ready, please post your choice.

Good news! I can totally repair some frakking Vipers now!

Um, as for the Crisis, I'm kind of leaning toward Option 2 here? I don't think there's anyone we're itching to send to the Brig, and if we did, there's an easier way to do it. The only reason I can think to choose Option 1 is to avoid a Morale hit, but failing the check would be even worse. I have a feeling we could pass it, though, as Destiny is very likely to be positive. I can help a bit.

What does everyone think? Morale is pretty high at the moment, and it would be nice to keep our cards at the start of this jump cycle. If we do the check and pass it, the Admiral doesn't have to send someone to the Brig, correct?

There is also the possibility—not that I have actual suspicions—that the Admiral is a Cylon, and this would certainly be a good opportunity for him. (Seriously, not an accusation, just saying, like we never XO someone after us JUST IN CASE. I'm not super-suspicious of anyone, but I wasn't super-suspicious before, and Boomer surprised me. And, yes, I'll go ahead and admit it: since I am the only person who has been specifically sort of accused by someone, I am afraid of being Brigged just because we get a free Brigging with our lack of Morale hit.)

In conclusion, I think we can pass the check, but is it worth it when we don't get an actual gain out of it? We can save those cards for a check we're required to do.

Well, I wouldn't mind brigging someone and keeping Morale, seeing as how I get to decide who gets brigged. OTOH, don't want to lose all my cards if we fail. OTOOH (I'm using one of Ellen's, here, because she's holding the bottle as usual), all my cards are positive for the check so I could theoretically play them all and not be risking losing anything.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG

I can't help at all with the check. I'm cool with option 2.
