I promise I will send in my character selections before I get out of bed today.
Meanwhile I have a question about the Trust Instincts card.
Resolve Skill Check abilities on these cards.
What does that mean?

The 0-value cards have Skill Check abilities, which do get resolved on the extra Destiny cards. What I'm confused about is that the card specifies they're played face-up. Does that mean you draw 2 cards off Destiny face-up first, before anyone plays into the check? And then you draw 2 more at the end? That could be interesting, especially with the Skill Check abilities.

Meanwhile I have a question about the Trust Instincts card.
Yes, the wording's a bit funny. Here's how a skill check with TI works.
1. Destiny puts in two cards.
2. Everyone plays int to the check in turn.
3. All the cards are shuffled up and turned over to be tallied (so far, no difference).
4. If there are any 0-value cards, resolve their effects. If one of those cards is a Trust Instincts, add two more cards from Dedtiny. (Face up because, really, what's the alternative?)
5. If either of those cards is a 0-value card, resolve its effect too.
It just means the cards added by TI get treated the same as any other cards in the check.

And why would we assume otherwise? Come on, rules.
Mmm, if the pre-TI cards have an effect that says that all cards of such-and-such color do such-and-such, the TI cards are also affected by that even though they come afterward, right? Otherwise things get weird and confusing, I'd think. Since you don't resolve strength until the very end, I think that's right.
Those new cards look very interesting, but with more cards in the deck, it's less likely that we'll even draw them! Well, I suppose everyone will draw them eventually. But any one person may not get to play with them.

Yes, there was a card I kept hoping for last game that I never drew.

Correct. For instance, Establish Network doubles the strength of all Blue cards in the check. If TI adds a Blue card, it will also be doubled.

You'd think, wouldn't you? But in my first Exodus game (I played Tory), I drew ten Purple cards and five of them were Trust Instincts.
There are three 0-value cards in each deck (out of 30 cards each). They should be rare, but come up every so often.

I have everyone's character preferences! For the second game in a row, I needed to go to third preferences to find a military leader. Looks like they're on the nose. Everyone else can have their first choice. Our full crew, in order, will be:
Admiral Saul Tigh:
-t
President Tory Foster:
Liese S.
Kara "Starbuck" Thrace:
Polter-Cow
Louanne "Kat" Katraine:
Laga
Callandra "Cally" Tyrol:
NoiseDesign
Everyone except Tigh starts with 3 cards from their regular draw. Everyone (except Tigh), please post or send me your choice of starting cards. Meanwhile, I will send out everyone's starting loyalty. And on that note, I also have the results of the rules voting.
Loyalties and Executions: By a margin of 4-0 (one abstention), we will use the Exodus rules. This means that it is possible that there will only be one Cylon in the game, and that if a human is executed, their replacement may be a Cylon.
Nukes: By a margin of 4-1, we will use the Cylon Fleet nukes. This means that a nuke has the chance to destroy everything in one sector, friend and foe alike.
Investigative Committees: This was very close. By a margin of 3-2, we will use the Pegasus ICs. Destiny will remain unrevealed by an IC.
Good luck to the crew of Buffistica 8. Loins across the fleet are girded as you set sail in search of Kobol, and then Earth!

Holy shit, we're in trouble.
I'll take PRG.

I'll take 1G 2R, please.
Ready for launch!

Oh, two pilots back to back, that's kind of exciting!
